DashBits are part of a numeric system I devised to raise interest in binary and hexadecimal. The word, 'DashBit', is just a nickname for the base 16 numbers displayed using the above symbols.

The basic idea is that one may use these symbols as a substitute for base 10 digits when using binary and/or hexadecimal.
