Just had to peek!

Oh Boy is this ever a biggy, lots of layers and lots of fun. I made the box, found the dog graphic and borrowed Robert's scissors to cut it open 'cause I couldn't wait till xmas

Let's begin!

.....

Template

Open the font and patch and shrink them to taskbar...open the template... close off all layers except the bottom layer...add a new layer... and with the text tool...font set at 101 Gift....size set at 36....stroke set at your patch pattern and fill set at the patch pattern.....floating and antalias checked....line set at 1... type your name....now place the name in front of the box...select none....close off the bottom layer...add a new layer....flood fill with white.... drag this layer below the text layer..... highlight the text layer and click outside the text with your magic wand....highlight the fill layer and hit delete....select none... close off any other layers that are open.....now just merge these 2 layers and re name text... drag it to the top of the stack..

1)Open the box...top ...bow and frame 1 layer... layers>merge....save as image 1....click the undo button

2)Close off frame 1...open frame 2...open top cut...duplicate top cut...close off original...with your lasso tool...lasso around the top cut that hangs over the scissor...hit dlete

Layers>merge...save as image 2....click undo

3)Close off frame 2..open frame 3....delete the copy of top cut.... open top cut...duplicate top cut and close off original....again lasso any of the top cut hanging over the scissor....layers>merge....save as image 3.... click undo

4)Close off frame 3...open frame 4... layers>merge...save as image 4...click undo

5)Close off frame 4...open frame 5.. layers>merge...save as image 5...click undo

6)Close off frame 5...open frame 6... layers>merge...save as image 6...click undo

7)Close off frame 6...open frame 7... layers>merge...save as image 7....click undo

8)Close off frame 7...open frame 8... layers>merge...save as image 8...click undo

9)Close off frame 8.....open frame 9... layers>merge...save as image 9......click undo

10)Close off frame 9...open frame 10... layers>merge...save as image 10...click undo

11)Close off frame 10...open frame 11...delete copy of top cut ... open top cut...duplicate...close off original....lasso and delete any top cut that is overhanging the scissor.. layers>merge...save as image 11...click undo

12)Close off frame 11...open frame 12. ...layers>merge...save as image 12...click undo

13)Close off frame 12...open frame 1.....delete copy of top cut....... open bottom cut...drag it to top of text layer......close off box...open box with no ribbon.... ...layers>merge...save as image 13...click undo

14)Close off bow.....open inside top...duplicate...turn off original......with the top the active layer....click the de form tool and with the bottom middle node...drag the box up a little...with the inside top the active layer...lasso any inside top above the top layer....open dog 1...duplicate and turn off original.....place the dog with just his ear showing and with the lasso tool...lasso and delete any part of the dog on top of the box....layers>merge.... save as image 14.....click undo

15)Delete copy of dog 1..open dog 1...duplicate and turn off original.....place the dog with the 1/2 the head showing.... and with the lasso tool...lasso and delete any part of the dog on top of the box....layers>merge....save as image 15

16)Delete copy of dog 1..open dog 1...duplicate and turn off original.....place the dog with the 1/2 the body showing.... and with the lasso tool...lasso and delete any part of the dog on top of the box....layers>merge....save as image 16

17)Delete copy of dog 1.....open dog 2...duplicate and turn off original.....place the dog with the top half showing.... and with the lasso tool...lasso and delete any part of the dog on top of the box....layers>merge.... save as image 17.....click undo

And your done!

....Animation....

Open animation shop...click on the animation wizard

Same size as first image...click next

Transparent...click next

Upper left corner and with canvas color checked...click next

Yes repeat the animation indfinitely....put 15 in box...click next

Add images...click next

Click finish

Now is a good time to re size...I took mine down to 300

Right click on frame 16....copy...right click on last frame...paste after current frame.....

Right click on frame 17...copy....right click on last frame ...paste after current frame

Right click on first frame...frame properties set at 125

Right click on frame 16...frame properties set at 50

Right click on last frame...frame properties set at 200

If you want the dog to have a little more movement just right click on last 2 frames...copy...right click on last frame...paste after current frame...make sure you chnage the animation properties on just the last 2 frames if you add more frames

That's it! Your all done!
