Aardvarx v Flintshire Phantoms 24.07.05
The second day of a double-header weekend saw the Aardvarx at home to the Flintshire Phantoms, facing off at the Blackburn Arena at 5pm. Adam McArdle took his place in the Aardvarx nets for the second time, and again faced a barrage of shots from strong opponents. The Aardvarx played a defensive game, limiting the scoring opportunities of the Phantoms, but at the expense of a strong forward push.
The game was much tighter than the previous day's fixture, with a lower scoring tally on both sides. A final score of 5-12 saw the Phantoms take their second win of the weekend, but the Aardvarx went away knowing that a strong effort was put in by all.
