GM's Notes:
A bit of a mismatched game, with the Altrincham squad playing together as a team for the first time and with several first-time players, going up against the skilled and drilled Blackburn squad who took the Alty team apart. A standout performance from Darren Shaw saw him take a well-earned MVP, and an on-form Adam McArdle in the Blackburn net conceded only one goal from twenty shots.

On the Altrincham team, there were strong debut performances from Matt Reynolds and Jennie Fenton, and a deserved MVP for Simon Harris.
