A fun and friendly game, played in the right spirit with both teams giving it their all. A short Aardvarx bench meant that we were only able to ice two forward lines and two d-pairs with the loan of Rachel Wyatt from the Legion (thanks Rachel!).
All in all a good effort from the Aardvarx, plenty of determination and spirit but a tight Legion defence kept us at bay. We can take away plenty from the game, and we know what areas we need to work on further in training.
Many thanks to the London Legion for hosting the game and for taking care of us afterwards with a night on the town, and also to Steve Hall for his DJing and to Roger "Oh My Word!" Hall for his announcing skills!
