Coach's Notes:
A short bench and a superior opposition meant that the Aardvarx were up against it right from the first shift. Nonetheless, the Aardvarx put in a stirling effort, and a run of good fortune gave us a three-goal run in the second period which had the Phantoms momentarily on the back foot. All a coach asks is that a team will play to their best abilities, and play right to the final whistle with passion and discipline, and the Aardvarx delivered that in spades. An enjoyable game, with the Phantoms racking up a well-deserved and well-worked win.
