The one thing you can say about the Aardvarx A squad is that it plays with passion, right down to the last. A 12-0 scoreline didn't reflect the game at all, and even though the Reds deserved their win, their coach Glyn Davies said after the game that the scoreline should have been different. The Reds were fast and precise, a more advanced team than the Aardvarx, so the challenge was in how the Aardvarx responded.
The Aardvarx A team went into the game with their heads held high, and played as a team. And it stayed that way all through the game, even when the score got into double figures. A coach can't ask for more from his team, and at the end of the game when things turned ugly after a hit by a Reds player on Michelle, the team were still a team, one for all, and thet can't be faulted. An excellent performance from the Aardvarx A.
