Wakefield Racing was stared in 2001 when we got our first go-kart. Jonathan Wakefield was the driver. Harold Wakefield was the crew chief. The first year we had few sponsers but, we won a couple races that year. In 2002 we picked alot of sponsers up. Won 5 out of 10 at Slippery Rock Raceway and won 2 out of 3 at Blankethill Speedway. Our motors are built by Toth Performance. We also have The Log Cabin Resteraunt, Bahama Breeze, Elliott Welding, Dynamic Auto Body and Graphic Engineering as sponsers. Also in 2002 Points Championship at Slippery Rock Raceway. Many thanks to our sponsers we could't have made it with out them!
