University of Miami Minority Women in Medicine recognizes the need for greater representation of minority women in the medical profession, and therefore seeks to provide a forum of support and encouragement in an effort to take minority women from Pre-Medical students to medical doctors.

With your help, support, and encouragement we were able to get off to a great start this semester. We have many exciting events planned for next year, including a Medical school fair, and Relay for Life, a collaborative event with the American Cancer Society and the UMSM class of 2006.
