The biggest changes you experience in life happen when you are in highschool. IDU was set up within Edgewater in 2003 with the aim of helping students through this troublesome time. In particular, IDU has a focus on sexuality and issues surrounding this aspect of life. A lot of the time this is a taboo subject and because of this young people are unable to express their concerns and can become quite lonely. Highschool can be quite a scary place for anybody, and IDU is here to nurture a feeling of security and unity, while celebrating the diverse nature of the society to which we all belong.

Riddle me this...

Why is a person who plays the piano called a pianist but a person drives a race car not called a racist?

Why are a wise man and a wise guy opposites?
Why do overlook and oversee mean opposite things?
If horrific means to make horrible, does terrific mean?
If lawyers are disbarred and clergymen defrocked, doesn't it follow that electricians can be delighted, musicians denoted, cowboys deranged, models deposed, tree surgeons debarked, and dry cleaners depressed?
Why is it that if someone tells you that there are 1 billion stars in the universe you will believe them. But if they tell you a wall has wet paint you will have to touch it to be sure?
Do Lipton Tea employees take coffee breaks?
What hair color do they put on the drivers licenses of bald men?
