:: “Don’t Hurt What You Can’t Kill”
Now that the O.W.F seems to have merged together, or at least most of it, things could start to look up. With Anarchist being the one to bring the stars all together it shows that Ortiz is not the only one who wants to rid the H.B.A.W disease and get back to matters within his own ranks. With King Of The Ring 2003 drawing ever so closer, tensions are running high and many still wonder who is indeed on the O.W.F side and who is H.B.A.W. Another mystery is a long time friend of Ortiz, Satan’s Child, hasn’t made his mind up about where he stands, and he could be a deciding factor in the fight for domination. With people coming and going, and with the rumour that Jabba The Hut has left the O.W.F, King Of The Ring is certainly setting up to be one of its hottest in history. But the main event now turning to a triple threat would be expected to piss off Ortiz, however he agrees that the younger stars deserve their shot if they earn it. But will this be an upset? Will Damien have what it takes to go all the way and cause one of the biggest upsets in O.W.F? Or will Ortiz pull through and become the O.W.F World Champion for the second time in his career and secure his place in the Hall Of Fame, which is also to be announced at King Of The Ring? Not only that but the event will be Future’s last ever match in the O.W.F, and many will be glad to see the back of him. And who could forget the actual King Of The Ring itself? With the event shaping up to be very interesting with, what many believe, to be a Kid Viscous vs. either The Krow or Kurt Angle final. It seems the whole event will turn out to be O.W.F vs. H.B.A.W, and who knows where this battle will take us. One thing is for sure, King Of The Ring is certainly not to be missed at any cost!
..::[ The house shows leading up to the Pay Per View has multiplied time and time again to add more tension towards the event, and the happening before events like King Of The Ring are always very exiting. With that note yet another house show kicks off and the theme music plays alongside its pyrotechnics for about five minuets, after which it immediately cuts backstage where the camera is sited just outside Ortiz’ locker room, who is said to be making an appearance later on tonight. Just as the camera is about to fade, it cuts to another camera in the parking lot where people are causing quite a stir. As the camera draws closer it shows Ortiz and someone else signing autographs. The person Ortiz is with is definitely a woman but the camera can’t get in close enough to see her face. The storm their way through the crowd and into the arena, still without showing the woman’s face. Another camera tries to get a glimpse but all it gets is a fist full on the lens from Ortiz. As the door slams shut the camera tries to push the door open, but nothing. Instead, about five minuits later, Curricho comes to the door and knocks a few times. Ortiz lets him in and shuts the door before the camera can see who it is. A house match goes on, and when it is finished the camera returns to the backstage area, this time Ortiz and Curricho are walking around without the woman beside them. ]::..
..::[ They stop at a small canteen and Ortiz and Curricho both take a small cup of coffee, and Ortiz gets a two bottles of water, presumably one of which is for the lady. They talk amongst other wrestlers for a while, most of which concerns the O.W.F and King Of The Ring. Tito and Curricho then leave and walk down the hall for a while, before reaching Tito’s locker room again. Before they go in, they invite the cameraman inside to reveal who the woman is. As the camera goes inside it shows a perfectly figured woman, none other than Caprice herself! ]::..
..::[ The cameraman walks in and positions himself so he can clearly see all three stars. ]::..
”Tito Ortiz”: So now that we are all here together, aren’t you all going to wish me luck for Sunday?
”Caprice”: Hey baby I have my fingers crossed, but don’t you worry, tonight those will be the only thing I have crossed. If you know what I mean?
”Tito Ortiz”: Oh yeah I know what you mean, but for now its all business ok, that’s all got to wait ‘till later. Just think, Sunday I will be the O.W.F World Heavyweight Champion for the second time in my career. Not only that but that would increase my chances of being voted into the Hall Of Fame!
”Curricho”: Don’t you go getting cocky or I’ll kick your ass myself! There is no room for error in this match, no room at all and you know it! Even though there is a rumour going around about Jabba leaving that doesn’t mean its true, and even if it is Damien will be determined to make a point.
”Tito Ortiz”: Yes I know, but I am hungry for gold! And what better gold to go for than the biggest piece in the game? Exactly! Thanks for your concern and all but I think I have this match in the bag.
”Caprice”: He’s right Tito. You don’t have the match in the bag yet, best take things one day at a time. I have seen these guys inside the ring, they may not be as skilled as you, but even you have to admit that both of them could beat you under the right circumstances.
”Tito Ortiz”: Yeah I know! God you guys really know how to boost a guy’s confidence huh? I’m just trying to visualise the win here and you guys aren’t making that very easy for me! Man I’m out, later to you both!
..::[ As the break comes back after the break, there has already been another house match, and as the two hopefuls walk to the backstage area, the titantron flickers again and this time it shows Corey Miles standing with Ortiz about to cut a small interview. As he does so both men posture themselves as the camera focuses in. ]::..
”Corey Miles”: Hello again ladies and gentlemen and with me today is Tito Ortiz, the man who will be in a triple threat match against Jabba and Damien for a chance to become O.W.F World Champion yet again. Thank you for joining us here today Tito and may I be the first to wish you good luck on this coming Sunday at King Of The Ring. But I think the first question on everyone’s lips after the events earlier would be what is the relationship between you and Caprice?
”Tito Ortiz”: Well I should have expected that. We have actually been dating for a while now, but nothing serious. Right now were going steady, she’s some woman huh?
”Corey Miles”: That she is sir, that she is. So Ortiz, before we get to the serious stuff, your last match didn’t go down as you planned, and the fact that it was supposed to be a tag match with a mystery partner couldn’t have helped much, and when that superstar, Belgarath, was taken out, people could say that it ended up a triple threat match. What are your comments on that?
”Tito Ortiz”: Well I haven’t got much to say really. Things just hasn’t been going my way recently. But I have nobody to blame but myself. I should have expected something like this to happen. They beat me yes, but I got back up, and I walked out of the arena on my own. It takes more than a simple beating to keep me down, and now they know it. Krow, Angle, Jabba, Bloodstone, you guys are soon going to realise that you are all not as good as you all claim to be. You all seem to be under the impression that you are unstoppable. Bullshit! Angle, don’t go getting cocky now just because you beat me. That was nothing compared to what I am going to do to you as this invasion comes to an end. As the saying goes, ‘You may have won the battle, but I will win the war!’ Yes it will be difficult for the O.W.F, but I know we will pull through as we always do!
”Corey Miles”: Ortiz, your next match is as big as it gets. A Triple Threat match in which you are facing Damien and the current World Champion Jabba, for the Championship. Now you have to admit that recently your form has dropped, and Jabba and Damien are both capable of pulling off a win, so what is your mindset right now and do you feel that this will be a tough match for you?
”Tito Ortiz”: Of coarse it will be a tough match. Nobody wants to loose in a match of this calibre, especially not Damien who could jump a few months or even a year and go straight to the top if he wins this match. But that’s an if, and a big if it is! Jabba The Hut of coarse has the ability to come out still the champion, but there is no way I am going to let that happen. He has held that title for long enough and come King Of The Ring he will fall at my hands, and quite simply there is nothing that he or the H.B.A.W can do about it.
”Corey Miles”: Well sir, to get so something a little funny if you ask me. Earlier on this week we heard from one of our younger stars, Chyko to be exact, who claimed you were an old washed up has-been. And that Damien is the favourite for the World Title match. Could we have your thoughts on what you think of that?
”Tito Ortiz”: Ahhhh, Chyko. Chavez, listen up, and listen up real good you little jobber. Why don’t we compare skill for a second shall we? Yes. Now you aren’t too high in the ladder right now are you? Of coarse not. You don’t have any gold, you aren’t a contender for any title, and you have a serious problem with your brain. You see, if you had any brain you would realise that I am nothing like an old washed up has-been. In fact quite the opposite. In the time you have spent here I was already World Champion, and yet you have nothing. So look son, go wrestle for another few years until you are on my level and then maybe I will give you some respect. But if you act like a little jobber again I will quite honestly beat you down like the little bitch you are! You say I am not making headlines these days? Are you hiding somewhere until your match? What better headline than in a main event moron? What better headline than being the number one contender for the World Title? What better headline than main eventing King Of The Ring for the World Championship? Another headline would be the fact that before now I have been the front-runner in the fight against the H.B.A.W asshole! For your sake lay of the smack okay, its obviously diluting your puny little brain bitch! You are lucky we are both on the same side right now or I would slap the taste out of your mouth for even thinking about me in your promotional tapes! You think Damien will win? Against possible two of the greatest wrestlers ever in the O.W.F? Jabba and myself? Shit I don’t even want to talk about you anymore, you make me sick!
”Corey Miles”: Well another thing we have saw recently is the merging of the O.W.F, which means you now have some friends, if only short term. But what effect does this have on the future of the O.W.F and do you think the chances of the O.W.F surviving have increased due to this faction?
”Tito Ortiz”: Of coarse our chances have increased. It has went from 4-2, to 4- at least 7, and there is no way the H.B.A.W can handle that. And its about time they realised that! With the O.W.F now as a unit, nothing can bring the O.W.F down!
..::[ Ortiz then shakes Corey’s hand and walks off. As Ortiz walks off the camera follows him as he heads again towards his locker room. As he does so he shuts the door. The camera then fades away as we go to ringside, where the fans have erupted into an “O.W.F…O.W.F…” chant. As usual both Shadow Chaos and Jim Ross wait for the crowd to settle down before trying to introduce is to another “O.W.F” show. ]::..
”Jim Ross”: Hello folks and welcome to the final house show before King Of The Ring and Shadow, things are really starting to hot up around here. Ladies and gentlemen if you have just joined us then you have missed Tito Ortiz commenting there on a few factors on the King Of The Ring. And before we get to King Of The Ring, lets talk about our young rookie Chyko claiming that Ortiz is an old washed up has-bee, and how wrong he was there. And automatically he fits right into the jobber category. Which is somewhere no real wrestler wants to be in, as it’s extremely hard to get out of.
”Shadow Chaos”: Well the guy is young, he has a lot to learn, and I’m sure Ortiz would be a great teacher weather he shows him, or beats it into him. ( laughs ) God these young kids crack me up when they think they can take on the masters. But lets talk about the H.B.A.W vs. O.W.F feud going on right now. With people suck as Tito, Kid Viscous, Damien, and possibly Satan’s Child among others, the force of the O.W.F is definitely going to teach the H.B.A.W a lesson. And that lesson would be never, ever, to mess with the O.W.F no matter who you think you are. Yes the H.B.A.W is a strong force, but the O.W.F is stronger, much stronger!
”Jim Ross”: That we are Shadow, that we are! And if you have looked at the card for King Of The Ring yet ladies and gentlemen then you will have noticed that the whole event is shaping up to be O.W.F vs. H.B.A.W. With matches as the following: A Triple Threat Match between the O.W.F ‘s Oblivion and Octavion and the H.B.A.W ‘s Bloodstone Bat. Then there is the Cruiserweight Title between The Anarchist vs. Rey Mysterio. After which is one of our King Of The Ring semi-finals which also has the Television Title added to it between the rookie Chyko and the veteran Kid Viscous. Another of our semi’s follows this time it pits two of the H.B.A.W wrestlers The Krow and Kurt Angle against Future which also has the middleweight title up for grabs. Then a standard match between Nilsson Da Silva and Satan’s Child who has yet to announce where he stands. And of coarse we have the King Of The Ring Finals, which has to be O.W.F vs. H.B.A.W with both the Television and Middleweight Championship up for grabs, so a lot at stake their. And who can forget our main event, with arguably, two of the O.W.F ‘s finest superstars ever Jabba and Tito Ortiz with the young hotshot Damien all competing in a Triple Threat match for the O.W.F World Heavyweight Championship! What a night we will be in for!
”Shadow Chaos”: And personally I can’t wait! This Sunday, King Of The Ring 2003 Live! Don’t miss it! Now lets talk about that huge main event. I mean, if all stars are on their top form, then what a night we will be in for! Jabba, the monster, the reigning O.W.F World Champion who has yet to face defeat, has yet to face Tito Ortiz. The man who some has described to be one of the greatest wrestlers ever in O.W.F. We both know what these stars are like, and with Damien in there it sure could be Jabba’s night to fall. Will Jabba be stripped of his title at the hands of Tito Ortiz or Damien? I sure as hell think so. In a match like this both Ortiz and Damien will have the determination and the guts to do what it takes to get the job done, but I have a gut feeling in my stomach that Tito will become the Champion for the second time coming. What about you J.R?
”Jim Ross”: Well Shadow it’s definitely a hard one to call. But recently Jabba hasn’t been on top form, Damien is fresh of a hard earned win against the young pretty boy Chyko, and Ortiz is fresh of a beating at the hands of the H.B.A.W, so not one of these guys can say the are 100%, but I guarantee that all three of them will do their damn best to get there! To call the match so far away from the match itself would be like trying to split a piece of paper into two equal pieces, but if I had to choose one, on past experience alone, I would agree with you and go for “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” Tito Ortiz. I don’t know why I just think he has more hunger than anybody else I have ever seen!
”Shadow Chaos”: Speaking of Chyko, that kid has some nerve! Doesn’t he have any brains at all? What kind of idiot claims that anyone in constant main events isn’t making headlines? My god. I quite simply can’t get over what he said. Ortiz is an “Old washed up has been”? Look kid, if your listening, shut up now before you get too deep and drown! You don’t have a damn clue what you are talking about!
”Jim Ross”: Well Shadow that is quite simply his inexperience acting up there. Does he think being as skilled and as experienced as Ortiz and some of these other guys comes easy? Well whatever he thinks Ortiz certainly wants this little kid to wait for after the invasion to bitch his mouth! And then Ortiz will kick his ass. And thank god the O.W.F has finally come together and not a moment too soon!
..::[ Without warning, a blaze of red pyrotechnics blaze at the top of the ramp and around the ring, and “My Generation” by Limp Bizkit starts blazing throughout the arena and who whole crowd again erupt to yet another frenzy. The blue and red lasers and pyrotechnics blaze along with the music, which simply electrifies the crowd. As they chant away, the man himself walks out of the curtain to just underneath the Titantron, although now he has his ring attire on, and isn’t accompanied by Caprice. He smiles at the crowd, and before he walks down the ramp the 7ft 300lbs Curricho walks out slowly behind him with his usual all leather clothing and the shades over his eyes. The crowd immediately erupt as the huge fan favourite is still in Ortiz’ corner! They both sign a few autographs before they start walking down the ramp towards the ring and when they do with each step they take the crowd gets louder and the flashes get brighter. As they reach the ring Lillian Garcia introduces them both. ]::..
”Lillian Garcia”: Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome, standing in at 5’9 weighing 198 lbs, being accompanied to the ring by Curricho, ‘The Huntington Beach Bad Boy’, Tito Ortiz!
...::[ The crowd then start an “O.W.F…O.W.F…” chant and rise to their feet for the front runner in the battle against the H.B.A.W. They both enter the ring and go up opposite corners and then switch. Ortiz jumps down and then takes a microphone from Lillian as the crowd die down to hear what he has to say ]::..
”Tito Ortiz”: You Know, The Last Time I Was Out Here…..I was about to go into yet another Tag Team match, this time it was a mystery partner who turned out to be Belgarath. The only problem was that the guy was attacked by some low life asshole that was afraid of a beating. My guess would definitely lie with someone within the H.B.A.W members. But I’m not here to solve that mystery, that’s up to H.B.K to find that out. What I am here to do is to give a few words concerning King Of The Ring, with Jabba and Damien being my main focus. So to start things off with, Damien. The One Man Hell, The Inducer, The Immolator. Now Damien, if this were a standard match I would indeed show some sort of respect for you. I mean hell you are someone with some great potential, and could easily go far with a lot of training and help. But this isn’t a standard match is it? No. This is the biggest match you have ever had in your professional career. Hell this is the biggest match I have ever had in my career. Yes you have talent, but don’t even think about thinking you are going to walk out of King Of The Ring holding my O.W.F Heavyweight Championship. Now I’m not going to be one of those lame assholes who come out here and claim you have no chance in hell of beating me, because in matches like these there is always that chance of an upset, and the underdog should always be feared. But I am going to say that I will be bringing everything I have to this match, and even if you bring everything you have it still wont be enough to come out the winner. Yeah so you beat that little jackass jobber Chyko, but that is nothing- he is nothing- compared to what cards I have on the table. I know you will bring the determination and I respect that, shit I am all for a shot for anyone deserving of it, but Jabba and myself are in a completely different league and even you have to admit that. But now its time to stop with the bullshit! Damien you know me, I’m sure you have saw my matches and quite simply I’m going to kick your ass, I’m going to kick Jabba’s ass, I’m going to walk out of King Of The Ring the new O.W.F World Champion and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it! You think that because you can beat a few rookies here and you get granted a Heavyweight Title shot that you can just jump into the deep end? Forget it asshole this water is too deep for a rookie like you! Don’t think I don’t know what you are capable of, because rest assured I do, otherwise I wouldn’t be out here talking trash about you. But can you honestly say that you can step into the ring with two of the best ever wrestlers in the O.W.F and compete at our level? If you do then wake up from your dream and stop filling your head with crap, because that’s exactly what your chances are! You think I am being an asshole now? Wait ‘till we get inside that ring and I will make you another asshole when I beat the living hell out of you and show you exactly what it takes to compete with the best of us! Why? Because I Can That’s Why!
”Tito Ortiz”: Now to go to my biggest challenge on Sunday, ironically it could also be my biggest challenge to date. What am I talking about? Jabba The Hut of coarse. Now there has been a slight rumour circulating around the back that you have left us Jabba. Now weather or not this is true I know you wont miss a chance to face me. Think about it Jabba, a chance to finally face me one on one, something I personally have been waiting on for many a month now. Ever since you introduced yourself I have been dreaming of the day when we step into the ring with nothing to stand in our way. And Jabba, bring everything you have and own, I don’t want you to have any excuses when I beat you one two three! Yes you are the opposite of Damien, you have the experience to beat me, and I’m not afraid to admit that, but recently I have noticed all your weaknesses and you can be damn sure I am going to exploit them to the fullest of my ability, and if anyone can use weaknesses to an attack its me! The ‘Huntington Beach Bad Boy’ Tito Ortiz! I wouldn’t think too much about a backup plan either, so don’t think that when times are getting rough inside that ring that your H.B.A.W boyfriends will be able to stop me, because although he is retired, Curricho can handle the best of them just like me, if not better! You see Jabba, if I win on Sunday then you bunch of assholes will be just another group of people trying to make a name for themselves where it counts, no O.W.F World Champion in your corner, no more 4-2, the only think you guys have on your side is the facts of life. And your lives in the O.W.F will come to an abrupt end when I beat Jabba and take away your only lifeline! Jabba you had better be listening up real good because it’s your ass on the line here. Come Sunday, come King Of The Ring, come that all important main event it will be you, me and Damien for the biggest championship in the world, the O.W.F World Championship. And do you really think that you are ready for a battle? Yes sure you have had your fair share of tough matches, but you don’t have that same look in your eyes you once did. The hunger for gold has left you. You don’t care for that title anymore, you don’t even care about the H.B.A.W anymore. The fact is that if all those rumours about you leaving are true then you are a looser. A nobody, who walks away from the biggest challenge to date and why? I think you are scared! I think you know that this time neither myself or Damien are going to lye down like everyone else you have faced up to this point. And if your going to come back and tell me how much times you have beaten people in other federations and how you have beaten people far better than me then shut your damn hole because I don’t want to hear it! All that matters is that match. All that matters is that 35-45 minuits where we will all be facing our destiny and after it is all said and done, after the battle has been fought and the smoke has cleared, when you are staring up at those lights after being knocked the fuck out you will hear myself being crowned the new O.W.F World Champion and you will lye there and wonder how you got beaten. And then I will remind you of this day, of this moment where we all stand and think how much the O.W.F Title means to us, and then and only then will you realise that deep down inside I want that title more than you ever have wanted it or indeed ever have! Jabba, time and time I have warned you that this day would come and you continued to try and ignore me. You continued to shrug me off and pretend you are better, and look what it has cost you. Or look what it will cost you, the World Championship that means so little to you yet so much to the rest of us. Jabba this place may mean nothing to you, but its home to us. And if you and your H.B.A.W buddies cant handle that then either leave, or we will force you out. If I was you Jabba, I’d get your ass out of here and take your punk bitches with you, before the O.W.F clean the floor with your ass!Be Prepared For Hell On Earth!
