// fairyland v2 : more The same green eyes that saved her life now threatened her. Her eyes followed the man as he paced back and forth in the dark tower. The shadows hung suspended over him so that he almost looked completely made up of particles - little black moving molecules that formed together in a cloud. She noticed that with a quick glance she could see hands petruding from the sleeves but on further inspection it appeared that the man was wearing gloves as the fingers weren't defined because there were no lines - no limits - it was hard to tell where things begun and where they ended. It was obvious that she was frightened as she hung back with her hands pressed against the damp walls. Her scraped and bruised knees were covered by the loose linen that clung to her body and goosebumps covered her hairless body. Her blonde hair had clumps of dirt in it and the dirt covered her body and filled under her fingernails. There was a question of how long she'd been here. No one had come to get her, to pay the ransom so that she might go home. The man argued with himself as he paced, oblivous of the frightened girl in the corner. He was speaking in a language she didn't understand but the result was clear. He was going to kill her. Her time had run out. In a swooping motion the cloud came barreling toward her with great speed and her arms flew abover her head. She recoiled, closing her eyes tight. The blow still came as expected and it knocked the wind out of her as her head hit the stone wall. A voice, that seemed forever away, cried out "no" behind her but she knew enough that his voice. The black mass had no lips, it had completley lost it's form and swirled around her humming steadily until it had covered her body entirely.
