The 2nd Annual Dixon Family Reunion
July 4th, 2004
The next Dixon reunion will be held in Branson, Missouri. Everyone had such a great time there before. There are so many different things for all to do - theme parks, water rides, go carts, factory outlet malls, and many types of musicals and shows.
By allowing everyone plenty of time to schedule their vacations, we would like for all Dixons including those that were Dixons, those that wanted to be Dixons. Pass the word on to your families, to your children and grandchildren, so that all may attend. We have relatives that have never met.
We would like for each family to introduce their clan
and tell about what they do, where they live, and
anything else they would like for the rest of us to
know about themselves. Anyone that has any talent is
welcome to prepare something and perform for the
group.
If everyone that can attend will let Fred Dixon know how many rooms they need, we can probably use this to get a better rate discount. The hotel serves a
continental breakfast or there is a restaurant in the
hotel if you want a buffet. So at this time we are not
planning any catered meals for the group.
So, if you can come, let Fred Dixon know the number of rooms your family will require for your stay in Branson.
We thought Friday, Sat. and Sunday July 4th would be the scheduled time for the reunion.
If you wanted to stay longer, either before or after, let Fred Dixon know the number of nights needed.
We are shooting for May 1 as a deadline so Fred can get the hotel and block off the necessary rooms for everyone.
Please, make a concentrated effort to attend if at all possible and bring all of your family with you.
