Disclaimer:
This is a work of fiction
Cause it's the
little things really. It's coming in chilled and climbing next to Sheldon on
his side of the bed, and it's cuddled onto that tiny sliver of mattress between
you and the floor, and getting to hold fast because otherwise you might fall.
It is the ocean
expanse of bed next to the two of you that you both ignore because to not cling
tight tonight would be entirely missing the point.
And it is how hands feel bigger when they
are warm and your back is cold. How they cover more space and you are aware of
the arm on your back like a bar holding you there, but mostly just holding you.
And it's Sheldon being kissed awake
thinking, well he dreamed Jose here. It's the smell of Sheldon's sheets, a
little bit like aftershave and soap and a lot like him.
And it is the way that Jose's eyes close
up with dissolute spellbound bliss, and the way that Sheldon is over him,
letting Jose melt into chocolate milk against the bed, and it is Sheldon's
pillow under him, shaped to fit his neck and head. And it's Sheldon's look of
smug pride at what he has. It's the way they gasp when Jose brings his legs up
against the outside of Sheldon's chest and squeezes the man closer to him.
And it's especially in the way Sheldon
responds, sliding his arm underneath Jose's hips, trapping his legs between the
two of them between them, crushed down so it's damm irresponsible to be like
this, damn dangerous to a healthy mind and body.
It's trying to convey things without
saying, and to show things without telling and trying to make it obvious that
you would not be adverse to being more without being the one to make the first
step. It's the chocolate caramel candy coated kiss you two just shared. That
one that blew you away so that you are both staring the dark and gasping, and
what did you just say? Without words, pretty boy. Without meaning to. Right
that second when you moved your lips on his?
