Why am I cyber begging ? What got me to this point? Why in the hell did people pay $4500.00 to some woman for boob implants ? After working hard all day and looking through the real estate section of the paper , I became more and more angry as the thought of :Here I am struggling, working hard , taking care of my responsibilities... and I can't even afford a house for my kids.Should of thought of that before I had kids .. well if we all lived by hindsight we wouldn't be in the messes that currently clutter our lives of every waking and sleeping moment. I am a mother of 2, married to a man who became disabled on a job .. we got a whopping $32,000(in 1996...very much in debt) out of that despite he is disabled . So we are a one income family who does what it can to get from week to week just like a majority of Americans. Here is a breakdown of my finances:
$572.00 per week x4 = $2288.00 (before taxes)
Electric = $80.00 (summer no air. higher in winter $130 roughly)
Gas = $35.00 (summer, higher in winter, around $220)
Groceries x 4 = $640.00
Phone and Internet = $65.00
Rent(3 bedroom) = $600.00
Cell ( required for job) = $45.00
Car ( our other car fuzzled out) = $ 275.00
No cable ... trying to cut expenses ... kids hate me .
Prescriptions = $ 200.00 est .
baby sitter = $200 ( $50.00 a week) Kids get home before i get off.
It says I have $148.00 left monthly ... that perplexes me and I wonder who has been stealing it from me .. Oh wait I know .. LIFE.
I would like to go back to school, possibly RN . I don't have money for that either . Can't get aid , WHY ? I make too much . Hmmm.So here it is in a nutshell: I am not buying tits with the money or drugs or any such thing..I just want a house. I need $5500.00 for a down , I think that will cover closing costs as well ( i am sure i can get a co-op or something like that). If you wanna be kind and pay for my nursing college I wouldn't pass that up either. I believe its about $6000.00 as well . I would be willing to set up accounts at Sinclair college and a real estate agency(irongate or something ) so you know thats where the money is going . Hey if you own a 3 bedroom home with yard in a not so bad area and wish to give it to me ... fine. Or you can call either place and set it up yourself. 0/14/03 Addition : After thinking about it , what about just paying the Sinclair community college tuition and living expenses for a year . The college course is 2 years , but after the first year I should be LPN and self supportive totally as my income would be more and work would be stable. |
