Ballard High School will soon (hopefully) be the proud owners of a new greenhouse. The proposed greenhouse is to be built on the west side of the building, facing 15th. The addition of a greenhouse to the Ballard horticulture and botany programs would greatly further learning capabilities. Students could study the growth of plants in a controlled environment, and would be able to grow more tropical plants.
