Hilfikon
The first documentary mention of the castle occurred in the Habsburg Urbar from 1303/07. According to this Arnoldus and Marchwardus of Hilfikon were in 1290 the owners of castle and in addition of belonging rule about the village of the same name. 1472 the possession of Messrs. von Hilfikon went in Berchtold VII. Schwend of Zurich, later to Hans von Seengen, steward to emperor's chair and, in the end, around 1500 to the young nobleman Melchior to the Gilgen from Lucerne. This acquired 1514 the neighboring Vogtei Sarmenstorf and connected them with the castle rule.
