Habsburg

After the castle had retired as a residence of the Counts of Habsburg, it was lent to different ministerial genders. The front part which remained unoccupied from now on went to Messrs. von Wülpelsberg. The fiefdom about the rear part fell to the inns of Habsburg and the sewers of Habsburg-Wildegg who had always exercised important court offices in the castle Habs and also administered other castles in the closer surroundings (inn mountain or Wildegg, the more first presumably also Freudenau). They were originally one single family, however, divided at the latest in the second quarter of the 13-th century in two lines.
