We are currently studying Unit E: Chapter 1, which focuses on "Matter and Its Properties." We will discuss what physical properties are, how to measure some physical properties, examples of physical properties that can be used to identify substances, what three states of matter are, how substances change state, about physical properties and chemical changes, how physical and chemical changes can be used to identify substances and to seperate mixtures, and about the law of conservation of matter. The test will cover Lessons 1-3, pages E6 through E27. The test has not been scheduled at this time. Vocabulary Words from Unit E: Chapter 1 are listed below - These words will be on the test! We will discuss the definitions during class. There is also a glossary in the back of the science book.
