The DOGS from France were an early punk band who began in '77, we reviewed an early ep they did in '77, on page 6 of the 70s invasion back in '99, those songs were 'CHARLIE WAS A GOOD BOY', 'MY WAY', and '19', they are raw, harsh punk songs with s Good STOOGES influence, you'll notice another DOGS in our Gateway 3, this one were a pre-punk band from Iowa, a great band as well,

a 3rd DOGS were L.A. based who had an EXCELLENT early punk song called 'YOUNGER POINT OF VIEW', this can be found on the Rhino late 70's punk comp. 'D.I.Y. , WERE DESPERATE, ' ( named after the X song _

we had accidentally reviewed it along with the French Dogs on page 3, thinking it was the same band, silly us eh ? who woulda figured ??..........and u know our page 6 is on Homestead and we can't change it,....yea just so the 4 or 5 of u who ever read this page will know..........

FRENCH Punk comp. '78

some French punk bands on this comp. are

STINKY TOYS, STARSHOOTER, ASPHALT JUNGLE, GUILTY RAZORS, LOU'S, DIESEL, MARIE ET LES GARCONS, this was recorded on July 10th '78, someone says shortly after this time there was a BIG riot in france.......

In the original Sanscrit and Aramaic Gospels, the duty of abstaining from meat and wine were emphasized, while in the later versions, it was omitted. Since many in the Christian Church, like Emperor Constantine, were meat eaters and drinkers of wine, naturally they were opposed to these doctrines, whose acceptance would involve a revolutionary transformation of their living habits. The Original Gospel, representing the teachings of Christ, the Lord of Love, taught harmlessness and compassion to all living beings, including both animals and humans.

For reasons above stated, the Roman Churchmen at Nicea opposed these doctrines and eliminated them from the Gospels, which they radically changed so as to be acceptable to Constantine, who was a male chauvinist who loved to oppress women, loved sex, red meats and flowing wine of his midnight feasts too much to accept a religion that prohibited these pleasures, which was a main reason why he so bitterly persecuted the early Christians who advocated these doctrines.
