The Big News: Ho Dawg wins womens title.
Best Match: Bret Christopher vs. Mike Jackson.
Worst Match: Crow vs. J.B. Wild.
MVP: Bret Christopher.
1.Crow defeated J.B. Wild
Crow picks up the win with a crossbody. The crowd was dead for this match, plus the wrestlers didn't do anything special, so it came across as a bad match. Not a dud, but not good either.
2."Outlander" Dave McEwan defeated Justin Envy w/Miss Chivious(sp?)
McEwan drags Miss Chivious into the ring, but is stop by Envy and as Envy helps Chivious out of the ring he turns around into a superkick by McEwan then McEwan gets the pin. Crowd still dead for this match, not as dead as the first match, but not a hot crowd either. Thought this match did come across alot better then the first one. Maybe a *1/2
3.Big Easy & Tommy Green defeated Bull Horton & Marty Shiffbower
Before the match Easy comes out and calls out Tommy Green. Easy said before Hall & Nash, DX, APA was Easy and Green. Easy then said let bygones be bygones then Easy and Green shook hands and made up. Horton and Shiffbower got tons of heat for double teaming Green. Easy with a awesomee boot on Shiffbower on the floor. Green tried to make a tag, but Easy was battling Shiffbower on the floor. Easy and Green makes a tag, but ref didn't see it therefore wouldn't allow it. Easy is tagged in and Powerbombs Shiffbower then gets the pin. Props go to these four guys for setting a dead crowd on fire. Which they was pretty hot for rest of the night. Great Match.
4.Bret Christopher defeated Mike Jackson
Jackson with a stunner on Christopher, but Will Owens distracts the ref. Jackson tries to get some revenge on Owens, but is caught with a superkick by Christopher and Christopher gets the win. Mr. Big and Smoke Dawg come out to confront Christopher and they teased another heel turn by Christopher as Christopher walks away. Jackson with a great insult on Owens. Great Match with great wrestling. For those who don't think ring psycology is important needed to see this match, as they told a good story in the ring. Match of the night.
5.Ho Dawg defeated Jackie & Wild Irish Rose in a three-way for the Womens title
Rosie tries to headbut the girls heads, but they blocked it and both ladies kissed Rosie and knocks Rosie out of the ring, then Dawg nails Jackie with the womens title and gets the win.
6.Kage defeated J.B. Wild by DQ
Kage comes off the top rope onto Horton who is at ringside on the floor. Horton catches Kage and carries him to the ramp and powerslams him on the ramp. Back in the ring Horton continues to attack Kage until Mr. Big aand Dawg Pound makes the save.
7.Plezing Brothers defeated Bull Horton & Marty Shiffbower
Horton killed Shiffbower with a chairsot to the head, then Steve Plezing pins Shiffbower.
8.Players Club defeated Dawg Pound and Fairy Express
Will Owens comes out to Rosies music and wearing pink tights with pink wristbands. As Owens was making his way to the ring I thought of a good name for the team of Owens and Rosie (The Faggots). Hey! its no worst then the stuff Russo came up with. Plus they could get a ton of heat with just the name. Anyways back to the match. The match ends with another swerve as Big was on the scond turnbuckle with his back to Christopher it looked like Christopher was going to superkick Big, But Kicks Owens instead. Christopher and Big then pins Owens for the win. Owens then aannounces that Christopher is fired, to end the show.
Grade B+. A good show, with three or four really good matches. The only problem I had with the show was the swerve, since this is the third time they teased a Players club split. As I stated the last time they teased the split if they keep doing it, then if they decide to really split Big and Christopher then nobody will believe it. As this time I didn't believe it. I really like how they are building the Owens and Christopher fued, Usually they don't build, they just have the match right away, but they are spending sometime building this which makes it more special. When the payoff match does take place it should be really good, and since they did build it up the crowd should be hot for it.
