RWF Report 12/6/02 at the Hardlin Event Center in Boaz, Al.
Reported By Terry Ray on 12/7/02.
Show opened with, as always it seems, RWF Champion, "Outlaw" Todd Zane and his lawyer, Skip Skipperman demanding time on the microphone. Skip was trying to calm a very upset Zane because he was going to have to defend the championship later tonight against "Bomber" Jack Lord. Mid-way throught their tirade, Creed came to the ring and demanded he get a title shot on January 3rd (New Years Brawl). After being goaded by the crowd, Zane finally agreed.
1. Justin Idol vs. Mad Dog
Mad Dog seemed a little off his game tonight as he easily fell victim to Idol's top rope cross body block. After the match Mad Dog swore that he was tired of being treated like he is and from now on his intent is no longer to win matches, but to hurt people.
2. T.C. Carnage vs. Havoc
Very good matchup, with Havoc dominating most of the match until Carnage caught him in the "Maximum Carnage" for the pin.
3. Big Easy vs. Chris Butler
Easy made his long awaited return to the RWF tonight and powerbombed his way to victory in this contest.
4. Yaki vs. Monster Man
This heated return match was the most action packed of the night - Yaki showed his aerial dominance while Monster Man struggled to cheat his way to an upper hand. In the end, Yaki managed to pin Monster Man, only to be beaten down after the match. This seems to only be the beginning of a classic fued.
5. "The Crusher" Cecil Plezing vs. Venom
Plezing easily pinned Venom in this very funny and entertaining match.
6. Adam Roberts & Bulldog Raines vs. Bull Horton & Bret Christopher
Roberts and Raines put this ongoing fued to rest when Christopher missed a superkick on Roberts and nailed his partner instead, allowing Roberts to get the pin on Horton. After the match, Christopher and Horton argued about the match and almost came to blows before Horton left the ring in disgust.
7. Jack Lord vs. Todd Zane
The crowd was into this match heavily as Lord & Zane battled on the outside of the ring for quite some time. Zane was able to throw Lord into a ringpost and from there started working on his arm in an attempt to get Lord to submit. When the referee was knocked out of the ring, Skipperman tried to hit Lord with his briefcase, but Lord was able to get it from him and nailed Zane with it. As the referee tried to get the count, Storm came from the back and pulled the referee out of the ring. She entered the ring and delivered a low blow to Lord - Zane, Skipperman and Storm started putting the boots to Lord until Cecil Plezing made the save. After the match, Lord challenged Zane and Storm to a Mixed Tag Team Match with Ladies World Champion, Bambi as his partner.
