RWF Report 11/29/02

From RWF correspondant Terry Ray:
The show opened with the RWF Heavyweight Champion, "Outlaw" Todd Zane and his lawyer, Skip Skipperman, coming to ringside and informing the crowd that Zane would not wrestle the returning Jack Lord tonight since he already had a title defense scheduled. Skipperman also said that if Lord could not defeat an opponent of their choosing tonight, he would never get a shot at Zane or the title.

1. Sharp Dress Man vs. "Old Money" Chris Butler:
SDM is a newcomer to the RWF, but was very impressive in his first match. However, Butler was able to land the "Stock Market Plunge" for the pinfall.

2. Creed vs. Havoc:
The popular Creed took quite a beating from the insane Havoc, but claimed the victory with a spear. After the match, Havoc attacked RWF owner, Stacy Hardin for the second time in two weeks for no apparent reason.

3. Yaki vs. Monster Man:
Yaki, undefeated in RWF action, faced his toughest opponent in another RWF newcomer, Monster Man. Fans were treated to a great display of technical wrestling, until the true colors of Monster Man were shown when he pulled Yaki's tights to secure the pinfall.

4. T.C. Carnage vs. Steve Plezing:
These two friends faced off in a great matchup that saw a very aggressive Plezing taking most of this matchup. Carnage was able to pull off the "Total Carnage" for the pin. After the match, Steve starting pitching a fit with the Referee and had to be calmed down by his brother, Cecil Plezing.

5. "Bomber" Jack Lord vs. "Wildthing" Will Owens:
Lord made his first in-ring appearance in five months to face veteran Will Owens in this #1 Contenders Match. Lord overpowered Owens initially in this contest, but with outside assistance from Owens' valet, Bootylicous, he soon took control of the match. Owens might have been able to beat Lord if not for the missed briefcase shot from Skip Skipperman which set him up for the pin by Lord.

6. Cecil Plezing vs. Todd Zane:
Plezing gave Zane the toughest challenge for the title so far. Plezing had Zane in the "Crusher Crossface" and Zane was to the point of giving up when Skip Skipperman nailed the Referee with his briefcase. When Plezing went after Skipperman, Zane got the briefcase and knocked Plezing out. Jack Lord came out and ran off the champ and his lawyer. Plezing was awarded the match by disqualification.

7. Bulldog Raines & Adam Roberts vs. Bull Horton & Bret Christopher:
The hatred between these four men became apparent early in this match as it soon became an all out brawl. Horton and Christopher were disqualified when Christopher brought in a chair and laid out Raines and Roberts. After the match they continued to beat down their opponents, leaving them unconcious in the ring.

Next weeks show will see the return of "Playboy" Justin Idol as he faces off against Mad Dog, a no-DQ match pitting Raines & Roberts against Horton & Christopher, a return match with "Mexican Sensation" Yaki as he faces Monster Man and more great wrestling action!
