RWF Report 1/10/03

Reported By Terry Ray on 1/11/03.

1. Big Easy vs. Mad Dog
Easy controlled most of this matchup, but Mad Dog lived up to his name and was disqualified for using a chair on Easy's knee. It took two referees to pull Easy out of the ring to stop Mad Dog's continued assault.

2. Bulldog Raines vs. Chris Butler
Good matchup that saw the popular Bulldog easily pinning Butler. Destyny was introduced and quickly established herself on the wrong side of the crowd. She said that with her Daddy's money, she was here to buy herself some wrestlers and before the night was over she would reveal who she had decided to buy.

3. Bull Horton, Havoc & Benin vs. Creed, Yaki & Justin Idol
Wild six-man tag match that ended when Creed caught Benin in the full-nelson submission. After the bell, Bull hit Creed from behind and delivered three big splashes before Idol & Yaki ran him out of the ring.

4. Jack Lord vs. Steve Plezing
It was supposed to be "Crusher" Cecil Plezing that faced Jack, but supposedly, he had car trouble and could not get to the arena, so his brother Steve filled in. Steve made a good showing of himself against his much larger opponent. At the end, the referee was knocked down and while Jack had Steve in the STF, Crusher hit the ring and started beating up Jack. Crusher accidently hit Steve and then got knocked out of the ring by Jack. Jack pinned Steve for the win. After the match, Crusher told Steve that he wanted nothing else to do with him until he figured out how to be a real wrestler.

5. Mike Jackson & Joe Hogan vs. Bret Christopher & Mr. Bigg
Very exciting match that saw "The Players Club" double teaming Hogan with a superkick for the pin. After the match, Destyny came to the ring and said that Bret & Bigg should be very happy that she has chosen them to be her first purchase in wrestling. Bigg got the mic and said that he and Bret decided a long time ago that if they were to sell their contracts to anybody, it certainly would not be to a $2 slut. Destyny slapped Bigg, who tried to go after her, but Bret pulled him back and said they could not hit a woman. Destyny said she would find a team to make sure that Bret & Bigg would pay for turning her down.

6. Adam Roberts vs. Todd Zane
Zane and his manager, Skip Skipperman, told Roberts that they would not defend the title against him because he had not earned a shot. This was okayed by Roberts as he began to beat the living tar out of Zane. This was a fast paced match that saw Roberts pinning Zane and earning a title shot next week.

Next week, the RWF Ladies Champion, Bambi, will defend her title against Storm.
