Freakshow of Faith continues winning ways in AWF

They are cocky, tough and always ready to tangle. They are Sin and Forsaken, the Freakshow of Faith (FOF). Well-known from their appearances in the Wiregrass and throughout Alabama, FOF are the American Wrestling Federation Tag-Team Champions. They successfully defended their titles on April 5 in Chipley against Chief Little Bear and Damien.

Fans who followed the tag team and their valet, Hell Kat, in Dothan and Hartford will find that nothing has changed with Sin and Forsaken. The two are still high-flyers who rely on fast tags, intricate teamwork and more than a few surprises to hold on to their belts.

A case in point was the April 5 match. FOF doubled up on their opponents at every opportunity. While not all of FOF’s daring moves worked, Sin put Damien completely off guard by spitting blood in “Pure Evil’s” face, and a Forsaken suplex set Chief Little Bear up for a pin by Sin.

They also could care less if they are loved. Both had words with fans on the way to the ring, and Sin mocked Damien as Chief Little Bear’s “tag-team partner of the week”. The popular Native-American made more than one attempt at the tag title in recent months.

Although the two make a dynamic tag team, there is a great deal of rivalry between Sin and Forsaken – according to Sin, at any rate. “Forsaken is the quiet one – I’m the great one”, Sin said in a recent interview. Sin noted that while there were a number of videos entitled “Forsaken’s Greatest Moments” available for sale, there were none of Sin. “Mine are sold out”, Sin noted modestly. Both claim they taught the other everything he knows.

Forsaken freely admits he is the quiet man of the two. He also admits he is “more from the dark side”.

Whatever side FOF is from, they are among the most dynamic performers in the AWF. It will take a powerful team to wrest the AWF tag-team title from Sin and Forsaken.
