Interview with Street Bandit

Street Bandit moving up in AWF

By Jay Felsberg

Correspondent

The masked man known as Street Bandit has been wrestling in the American Wrestling Federation for two months. Recently, however, the young wrestler is making his name by challenging none other than Luscious Larry.

The Luscious One was accompanied to the ring June 14 in Ozark to face Street Bandit by his most recent addition to the Luscious Dolls stable, Melissa. During the match things took an unusual turn, as Melissa appeared to be paying way more attention to Street Bandit (who was giving Larry all he could handle before he hit the Luscious Slam for the pinfall) than Luscious Larry. After the match, Larry “threw out the garbage” and “gave” the lovely Melissa to Street Bandit.

“I was the winner”, Bandit said later at the exciting card at Ozark Civic Center.

Street Bandit has a certain amount of mystery about him. He talked little about his past life during our interview in Ozark, only saying that he lived a “life on the streets” as a young man – hence his ring name. His mask only heightens the mystery. However, reliable sources indicate that the Bandit has wrestled since his teens, and that he has wrestled under several names in Alabama and Florida. Reports indicate that Bandit wrestles in SouthEastern Extreme Wrestling, Southern Pro Wrestling, Alabama Wrestling Federation, and other independent venues.

The Bandit is an aggressive, and sometimes a bit impulsive wrestler (as witness his chair attack on Curtis LeRoy in Ozark, let alone his “acquisition” of the lovely Melissa). He shows solid wrestling skills and never runs from a challenge. Look for more from this exciting young wrestler in the AWF.
