Selena was a bit of a daredevil and loved to do exciting things, such as parasailng, tobogganing, riding motorcycles and driving around Corpus Christi in her red Porsche singing at the top of her lungs to a song on the radio. She loved to design clothes, and she designed the outfits for all the members of her group at one time. Also, she loved the times when the group played softball.

Selena & Chris:
Chris and Selena's life together was innocent and beautiful.They had "his" and "hers" tortilla chips bags so that neither could say the other was eating all the chips. And Selena also loved taking rides with Chris out in the country and stopping by the beach with a soda and a bag of tortillas.Selena and Chris planned to build their house on 10 acres of land and Selena waned to have horses, peacocks, chickens, she loved animals.

Selena had her share of pets in the years of her marriage. She had 5 dogs, a python, Chris and Selena had a head bored tank filled with tropical fish but it was hard to keep them when they traveled.
Selena's Advice for youth:
Selena's advice was stay in school, steer clear of alcohol and drugs, and remain chaste". She spent much of her time making speeches around schools and making informative videos addressing these issues.
Selena was also dedicated to women's protection.
In 1993, Selena taped a public service announcement for a battered women's shelter. A volunteer reported that every time Selena's tape aired, the shelter's phone lines would ring off the hook.
