On the outskirts of Sheveningen you will find Madurodam, a city in miniature (one twenty-fifth scale), featuring many well known buildings from around Holland. It also features a railway network, an airport and two harbours. This is not just the usual catch-penny miniature village with which we are all familiar, but a well designed and brilliantly conceived tourist attraction. |
