This is the first time I'm writing this so I'm not sure how to write it and what to say. Friday was our first football game of this year so we had a pep rally and sophmore color is red so I was gonna wear a red shirt but I realized that I don't have a red shirt. That is so weird. Well, the day was pretty much boring but the pep rally was fun. Matt was in a contest thing where he had to put on extra clothes and then take them off and hand them to the next person. Kristine was behind me and kept growling and screaming "take it all off, baby!!". It was really funny. After school I wasn't sure if I was gonna go to the game or not so I was trying to see who else was going but no one was going so then I wasn't gonna go but about an hour before the game was gonna start Karen called me and said that her and Ashley were gonna go cause Marissa called and begged them to go. So then I went to the game. It was pretty good but not really fun just kind of. But I did see Daniel during halftime cause he's in the band and since he's in the pit I had a very good view. Marissa was freaking out about Stephen the whole night. Then saturday, I hung out with Kristine at the mall and then we went to a movie. At the mall I got a shirt from the gap and its red with a neat asian like print on it. While we were there we went to the makeup department store things to get free stuff. Kristine got makeup from one store and this lady like caked on the mascara but besides that it was good. Then we went to a completely different store and at the Estee Lauder I asked this lady about redness in my face and how I could cover it up. She looked at me like I was crazy. It made me really mad she was like well anything will cover that up (in a really nasty, skanky voice)but she finally gave me some free samples. She just wasn't a nice person. I also got sweet pea lotion and spray from bath and body works. I love that smell! Then we went to a movie called The Crew. We had no idea what we were seeing when we got there but there were only adults in the audience so we were like oh no this is gonna be a bad movie but it wasn't it was really funny. It's about ex-mob guys who try to get everyone to leave Miami cause all the young people were trying to take their apartment. Since one of the old guys makes up dead people for their funerals, they take a dead guy that he made up and they shoot him but it's really funny cause the guy with the funeral job takes toothpicks and makes people smile psychotically after they're dead. So the guys are about to shoot him and none of them think that they can do it so it keeps showing the corpse and he's smiling. We couldn't stop cracking up and everyone around us was looking at us like we were crazy. Then there was another part with the same corpse but after they blew his head off and he was in the coffin and where his head should be there was a picture of his head with the same psychotic smile. Me and Kristine started cracking up and she was like, "that's great!!!" while laughing and everybody else was dead silent. It was hilarious!! I'm so happy cause on tuesday (tomorrow) we have the day off so I am going to try to get my driver's permit. I tried to get it friday after school but the place closes early at like 4:00 so there was already a bunch of people waiting and I didn't get there in time. But I am going to take the test tomorrow so wish me luck!!!!
I didn't get my permit :(. Before i went i asked my brother what I had to bring and he said nothing now I thought it was weird but I was like okay and then I got there and I needed my birth certificate, social security card, and a form from school that says I go to school. I don't get that, it's like if you drop out of school you can't drive. That doesn't make sense. Anyway so I couldn't get the damn form cause school was closed so I couldn't get it then so I have to get out of school early some day so that i can get there in time to get my permit and I have to plan that. And I heard there was a law that you have to get your permit in the next 2 weeks or you have to wait until you're 18. I'm not sure if it's true or not. I hope it isn't true. Only a couple weeks until Big Spring Jam!!! I'm really excited. I'm gonna see 3 Doors Down, Plumb, Getaway People, Jump Little Children, and Destiny's Child. But at Music MAYnia Destiny's Child didn't show up so they said they were coming the next day and then they didn't so I don't always trust them to come but I do think they're good singers. Wednesday, I sent a letter to Wayne and some pics and our website address and they wrote back on Thursday!!! Isn't that cool??? Micheal said he'd sign the guestbook but I don't know if he did cause the page wasn't showing up right so I'm not sure if it was working but it is now. So I'm hoping he signed it or is gonna sign it.
I finally got my permit on the 13th and I got my plasticy one today. Big spring Jam was this past weekend. It was so much fun! On friday there wasn't much going on. We saw Lee Ann Womack and she was pretty good Karen wanted her pants (lol) there were red pleather. We were gonna see Brother Cane but they started late and we had to get to Lee Ann Womack cause Chanen really wanted to see her. Then we walked around a little and got a really cool pic which is gonna go on our pictures page. It's a V8 Splash promotional but it's really cute and it was free. We were going to go see Cheap Trick (they're an older band who sing the theme song to That 70's Show and they sing the original version of I want you to want me) but we decided to sit and alk right outside the stage area instead but we still heard some of the songs. That night me and Karen spent the night at Ashley's house and saturday we went again to Big Spring Jam at around 2:00 and saw Loveless Crown. They're this local band that went to Grissom (a high school in the next town over) and graduated a year or two ago. They're opening for Train in a concert soon so it's kinda cool cause we can say they lived near us ya-know? The Getaway People were supposed to play after Loveless Crown but for some reason they didn't and I was very upset cause I really wanted to see them. They sing Six Pacs it's the new theme song for that TV show Young Americans. It's really good. So then we walked around to see if they had switched stages but they weren't anywhere else so we didn't get to see them (I heard later that they switched times and it made me so mad cause the stage people didn't say anything about the switch). Then we walked around a little more and saw Mars Electric. They are pretty good I thought. Karen was lucky and got their signatures on a Mars Electric sticker, but I went to see Plumb with Ashley and Chanen before Mars Electric ended and Karen stayed with Marissa, Gina, and Mattie to see them. Plumb was really good I had heard of them before the Big Spring Jam. I wanna get their CD, it's called Candycoatedwaterdrops...one word...yeah(lol...don't worry if you don't get it). Plumb was really good and I found out that a song I like by them (Damaged) is about this girl getting sexually molested when she was 15. I didn't know that before. Karen met us at Plumb, and then we went to the merchandise stand for 3 Doors Down and I got a shirt, it's really cool. It's black with a green superman-like symbol on the front that has a 3 in the middle kind of like Kryptonite-3 Doors Down mix. Then we went to get dinner cause we had to get to 3 Doors Down early so we'd have good spots, plus there was a signing at 8:00 for the guys of 3 Doors Down. So, we got hot dogs or something and went to get in a good line spot. The signing atarted at 8:00 and we got there at 7:00. We didn't mind we were just going to walk around anyway. To pass the time we did some band trivia (Karen knew all the JLC ones). There was a guy working there who was trying to sell us a 3 Doors Down CD, but when we told him we already had one he was like "Where are you going to find the 3 Doors Down CD for $15?", I was like "Got mine for $11", and Karen said "$9". It was funny. We were about the fifth person in line and when the band walked in they walked right between me and Karen (squeel!!!). The guy who was doing security was really funny cause he was supposed to be blocking the crowd and no one ran to attack him so he was being sarcastic and said "Man, there are too many people. Give me some room, I need to breath.". He was funny, too. I got my CD signed by the whole band. So did Karen. Ashley got her Chik-Fil-A coupon signed. Chanen (by the way if thats confusing you her name is Shannon we just spell it weird in notes and non-school-related things) got her ticket signed and there's a funny story about that later that I'll tell you. We got out of the line at about 8:05 or 8:10 so we went to see where Mattie, Marissa, and Gina were in line we told them we would meet them outside the concert for 3 Doors Down at 9:00 but that was a mistake. We didn't meet them at 9:00 because we were about 15 feet from the stage and that was really far up considering how many people were there. We explained on monday and they understood so it's all good. Cracker was playing before 3 Doors Down so we got to see their whole concert. I knew I had heard of them but I wasn't sure what they sang. I was so surprised when they started playing their first song. It was Euro-Trash Girl. I had heard that on the radio or something. Then later, they played Low and I sang along with the chorus cause I knew that one!! Now I really like Cracker, they're a good band. Halfway through the concert these 2 girls started flashing everyone while on their boyfriend's shoulders and they were standing right next to us so it was really disgusting. The same girls who were flashing everyone got up on their boyfriend's shoulders again and started making out with each other (yeah, the 2 girls). I was so disgusted, but the band said between some of their songs "Were totally cool with this, nudity, bisexual experimentation" it was funny. After Cracker, Chris and Didi (DJs for the radio station that was sponsering the stage got up and said Sister Hazel, Stroke 9, and Dexter Freebish are going to play at the VBC on Halloween. I am definately going!!! Then, 3 Doors Down came on!!! That concert was fun. I knew all the songs except the 2 new ones they played it was pretty cool. Most of the people there didn't know anything except Kryptonite so they kept screaming "Play Kryptonite!!!" it was really bothering me! All these people were crowd surfing and one of the crowd surfers stepped on my head. Since it had been raining before the concert there were concrete mud puddles on the ground so I got a streak of concrete mud in my hair and the same person who stepped on my hair steppeds on my chest and got mud on the front of my shirt and on my skin where the shirt stops, and somehow I got mud between my eye and my eyebrow. When the guy stepped on me, it pushed me way back and I couldn't get his damn foot of my head so I got really mad and pushed his leg off me (I think he fell I didn't care enough to look), then I pushed my way through all these guys to get back to where I was before. I turned to Karen and started yelling about the crowd surfer, then this guy behind me (he seemed nice) started cracking up histerically. It was pretty funny. The band got off stage after their concert but they hadn't played Smack yet and we were so mad cause we had practiced the words just so we could get it right at the concert and they weren't gonna play it :(. After they got off stage, everyone started yelling "We want more, We want more!" so they finally came out again. The encore song they played was Smack!!! Me and Karen were so excited we started jumping and all these people around us thought we were crazy (we are, but for different reasons). When we got out of the crowd, we were looking at ourselves and we were all very dirty. My pants were caked in concrete mud halfway up to my knee, my shoes were caked in mud where my pants didn't cover them (I was glad I wore my grungy concert shoes), my shirt was very dirty from that crowd surfer, I had a streak of concrete mud in my hair, I had other people's sweat in my hair (now, that is disgusting), there was gutter water on my knee from earlier while we were taking a picture in line for the signing, and there was mud on my Mudd purse (get it?). We got a picture of us. We'll probably put it up on the 35mm page but it was midnight so I don't know if it'll come out good. While we were walking to the car there were these guys, I'm guessing 8th or 9th grade, who were playing on the sidewalk and there was one of those bushes, I think it's called a shrubbary (lolol...that is such a funny word). Well, anyways, back to the funny thing, one of the guys was sitting in the bush with only his head and his legs sticking out and he says (I can barely type this I'm laughing too hard) "Hello, I'm in a bush! Hello, I'm in a bush!" it was so funny!!! It's funnier when I do the arm movements he was doing. Karen's parents took us home, so when I got home, my brother was still out and my parents were asleep. All the lights were off and it was really quiet, but I had just been in a loud concert so my ears were ringing. It was the weirdest feeling, you'll have to try that sometime, it feels really weird. But since no one was awake I didn't want to wake my parents up by taking a shower so I had to sleep with concrete mud in my hair and mud on my collarbone. It wasn't pretty. Well, I know this is long but there's still another day of Big Spring Jam (from now on I will refer to it as BSJ). Sunday, we didn't go until later cause the only band we wanted to see was Jump, Little Children. We went to the mechandise table before the concert and got some stuff. I got a license plate holder to go on my future car, a photo, a sticker, and a shirt. After we got the merchandise, we went to the stage and were taking pictures before the concert started. You see, Jump, Little Children so their own sound check so we were taking pictures of them setting up their instruments. Everyone there was just there early to see Destiny's Child, so they thought we were crazy taking pictures of the sound check guys. Little did they know.... The girls in front of me were a bit mad cause they didn't know JLC and we were singing all the songs. Last time they were here at Music MAYnia, they didn't look like they were having fun at all but this time it looked like they were having a lot of fun. During Body Parts, Matt couldn't stop laughing, it was really funny. At one part, Ward was making fun of how Matt was dancing. That was really funny, too. Next time, I'm bringing a zoom camera so I can get close up pictures. After the concert, Mattie joined us to get signatures at the wherehouse tent. We got up close again and were happy about that. Chanen was really funny cause Toby Keith started at 8:45 and she was gonna go see him with Jess. JLC was late cause they stopped and another place to do a little signing and every minute Chanen would say "I spend $1 on them and this is how they repay me, by being late?!?!" she was being really funny. I got my CD cover signed by them!! Now I have 3 signed CDs. 3 Doors Down, Wayne, and JLC. After we got our things signed, Mattie almost collapsed cause she is in love with Jay. Then Angela yelled out "She's in love with you!!" and everyonw turned to look. Jay even got up and pulled out his chair for Mattie to let her sit down but Mattie got embarressed and ran away. Finally, after everyone else left we went up to the table again and Angela told Matt how hot he was (she doesn't embarress easily) and got him to kiss her 3 times!! She's so lucky but I know that they were pity kisses (right Karen?)! Mattie, Karen, and Ashley got a picture together with JLC. I got a picture of them and just me!!! They want me, I can tell. Angela got them to sign her stomach and I'm jealous but mine will last a lot longer than hers did, cause it's already gone. That was about it for BSJ. Yesterday (8/27/2000) Ashley said she might be moving to Ireland. It's so sad, I don't know what school here is going to be like without Ashley here. It would be cool to live in Ireland but she'll be leaving :(!!!!
Also yesterday, I wrote another email to Wayne. They never signed the guestbook so I don't know if he forgot or didn't want to or what but I thought I should write again so I did. I think that's about it for now but I'll try to update soon. That is, if anything happens.
Today's my brother's birthday and he got a new CDR. I'm not reall ythat excited about that part of it but guess what? I might get his old one to put on my computer!! That sounds really selfish but that's okay. Everyone's selfish sometimes. I got the Athenaeum CD yesterday at Best Buy. It's the best CD ever. If you've never heard them you need to somehow hear their music because you are being deprived and it's really sad. I don't really have a lot to write about right now I'm just bored and thats why I came on here to write. I hope that CDR thing works on my computer. I put up my TheSpark.com quiz stat things at the bottom of the page yesterday. You should go there just click on one of the pics. Oh and the IQ test is so cool and so true. You have to take it and send me the results, okay? Wayne still hasn't e-mailed me back and I'm getting a bit annoyed.
Yesterday was the Dexter Freebish/Sister Hazel/Stroke 9 concert!! It was a lot of fun and we met Dexter Freebish. We got pictures with each of them and we got pictures of all the bands on stage. Some of them are blurry because people kept throwing their big fat arms in front of my camera. Karen and Marissa know who I'm talking about. I just wanted him to get raped by mad pandas, but they are never there when you actually need them like at concerts and stuff. Only in Chinese hotel rooms. And during one part, there was this couple about our age in front of us and the guy's head was in my way some of the time but they were making out a lot of the time so when they were making out I could see. Also, there were a couple of weddings last night. Marissa and Kyle from DF got married and me and Rob from DF got married. I didn't invite many people, it was kind of a flying-by-the-seat-of-my-pants kind of moment, so don't be offended if you weren't there. I'm gonna try to put up pictures soon so you can all the the ooozing sex of the wonderful concert. I got a sticker signed by all of the DF guys and they wrote my name on it!!! And it's Marissa's birthday today. Happy Birthday Marissa!!! Last night I got home a little after midnight I was really tired but today I really didn't feel tired. I took my new digital camera to the concert which means easier pictures and easier to get onto the computer. I don't really have that much to write but I had time so sorry it's short.
Happy New Year everyone!!! I know it's been a long time since I've written in so I'm very sorry. Ashley moved to Ireland the day after Christmas so she's gone now. It's so sad. We're trying to get plane tickets to go see her this summer though. Oh I gotta tell you about the concert!!! We went to a Creed/Finger Eleven/Sevendust concert in November. I think it was the 26th (I can't really remember). Anyway it was great! But, I was dissapointed cause Scott didn't wear leather pants. He wore courderouy (excuse my spelling) so it wasn't like jeans or anything. Chanen and Marissa decided to go sit in the back almost at the end of the concert cause they were really hot. On the way out of the crowd, Chanen fainted and some guy caught her then they took her to the ambulance place to make sure she was okay. She was. Then not much happened for a while that anyone else would care about. I did 4 win tickets to the Jingle Bell Jam (Fastball/Baha Men(GAG ME!)/Stroud) on December 18th or 19th I wasn't extremely excited about this concert although I wanted to see Fastball and Stroud. Not like I would die if I didn't get to see them but I wanted to go. So the night of the concert it's raining and quite cold and we go to pick everyone up first, Chanen and then we go to get Ashley but her mom doesnt want to let her go so we wait a while and then call Ash's mom again and Ash talks to her for a while then my mom talks to her mom for a while and Ash still can't go. We say farewell to Ash and go to pick up Karen. Karen's mom never said anything about the concert. We call Ash with my mom's cell from Karen's driveway. We beg and plead but still Ash sadly cannot come. So we 3 went and had a little fun. Mostly it was just us and some 8 year olds dressed way too skankily for their age. We only stayed for Stroud. They were pretty good. I got a promo CD from them and they signed it along with the free picture I got. Baha Men were next so we left. Although we wanted to see Fastball, we didn't want to stay up really late and Baha Men! I mean, we couldn't stand the Baha Men for that long so we went home. I got a few pictures from that. They'll be up in a little while.
Well, some things have happened since my last entry but I'm not sure who actually reads this so whats the point of going into detail, right? Well, we didn't get a January concert which is really depressing but we did get a February and March concert. February was Kenny Wayne Sheperd. Let me tell you, despite his long hair he's pretty damn sexy. Good concert, although some guy with a raspy voice (most likely a smoker....eew) started talking to me which was kind of annoying. That was pretty much the whole night, not going into detail. March was Barenaked Ladies which was tons of fun. They're really good in concert, all of a sudden they just start rapping off on weird rhymes about something happening at that time. The cop there reprimanded me about having a camera in between Chantal Kreviazuk (opening act) and BNL, so I couldn't get any pictures during the concert. That really sucked. Well, that's the Campbell's condensed soup version. We're also going to a concert in April for Lifehouse/Matchbox 20/Everclear which is definately going to be fun. Also, I was really excited about Music MAYnia but then Karen heard it was cancelled so we're still doing research about it. We will get back to you on that. Also, I'm moving back to California this summer which is good and bad. I don't wanna move but at least I'll know people there and it's familiar to me. So that's about it. I just had to update my In The Life. I was also thinking of getting a diaryland but then i thought I never update this so when would I update that? Oh, well it was just a thought.
I am so terrible about updating this crap! I was talking to Karen last night on the phone and it just reminded me that I should update this. So I moved back to CA last July or August so ive been her about a year but I havent written for longer than that. Like I've said many times I'm very bad at this. Shannon and Kristine just went home a few days ago. They visited me for about a week. It was so much fun. I've missed everyone since I moved so it was great. Karen and Ashley are coming out in a couple weeks. After that, me and my mom are visiting AL. My brother just moved into a trailor (it's okay, Ifind it a little strange too) so we're gonna check out his place. And I'll visit some of my friends, my mom some of hers. We're also gonna see my uncle Gary. Anyway, that'll be fun. My summer's pretty booked. It's going by quick, though. Anyway, I can't think of anything else to write so I guess I'll try to write again soon.
