Laguna, Kiros and Ward

These three provide a good deal of comic relief. The leader of the trio is a misfit soldier who likes to bring his two buddies along for the ride, and they loyally follow. Like Seifer, Fujin and Raijin, this trio is a picture of friendship. They help one another no matter what the cost and often end up in a situation deeper than they can get out of. Seperation is no obstacle for this group, nor is time, something we can all learn from, a friend is a friend, and a true friend never gives up on you, you're in their thoughts and memories for the rest of their lives. I like to have as much fun with these guys as possible in the short amount of time you get to play them, and one way to do that is to postpone using the Magic lamp until you're on board the train heading to Timber. When the first scene with these guys happens, you can fight Diablos with this trio instead of Squall, Selphie and Zell. While not a major thing, it's still kind of interesting and a change from the same old same old of playing the game over and over again, if you can add a little twist here and there, it makes for some better replay value. All in all, this trio ties with the Disclipinary Committee for best supporting characters, I honestly can't choose a favorite crew between them.

Description
An ex-soldier turned journalist, Laguna is a strong willed man with amazing energy. His compassion for the unfortunate drives him to help the weak and bring down their oppressors. Using his writing as a might instrument of justice, he stands strong against the evils of the world.
Little is really known of Kiros, he served with Laguna in the Galbadian Army and later accompanied him around the world. His sharp intelligence and compassionate nature serve to his unique enigmatic charm.
A devoted, mountain of a man, Ward is a gentle giant to those he trusts. His devotion to his allies is unwavering, and like his odd choice of weaponry, firmly rooted once placed.

Desperado
Laguna will first chuck a grenade at the opposition, then unloads a few rounds of ammo into the enemy before he makes himself scarce. This attack damages every enemy present.
Blood Pain
,
Unleashing a flurry of intricate attacks, Kiros can cause some major pain to a single enemy. This attack hits about ten times and works excellent against Diablos.
Heavy Anchor
Giving his mighty weapon a toss, Ward then follows it and rides it down. The aftershock of the Harpoon hitting the earth damages all enemies present and is devestating to a group, a great attack.
