SUMNER'S RLC SCIENCE CLASSES

Welcome to the Sumner RLC Science Photopage! It has already been a very busy year for us and here are some of the things we have been doing!

Simulating Mendel's Pea Experiments

The eighth grade has been working on genetics this year so far. After mastering DNA Made Easy, they moved to Mendelian genetics. Here a few of them are flipping coins and determining genotypes and phenotypes.

Our Marvelous Murder Mystery

The seventh graders have been working on a variety of things this year. We have set the groundwork with a "Murder" lab where students viewed a "crime" scene, collected evidence, made drawings under the microscope, and eventually came up with a story using all the evidence they collected.

Teamwork is essential to getting things done!
