What if there was a sad day without love?
Would hatred
and greed fill the air?
Would the angels be unhappy above,
Or would there be an absence of care?
Sometimes we all
deny the happiness in life,
Letting our problems bring us down.
Muttering words to another as sharp as a knife,
When truly
their is love all around.
Cloud would fill the skies at
night,
And the leaves of flowers would wilt.
The sun would
not shine as bright,
And the patches would unravel on a single
quilt.
However, there are no notes of this day so wrong,
For love fills the air like a song.
