The Club FAQ
Do I automatically get accepted into the club when I fill out the application?
No. I try to keep this a small club, therefore I have to only accept the best of the best. First I'll review your application and decide whether or not I think you'll benefit the group. If I believe that you will, you'll be put in front of the club members in our next meeting and they'll make the final decision.
Is there an initiation process?
No. You won't have to do anything but fill out the application and wait for a reply.
Do I have to supply any money?
No.
Is there club meetings?
Yes. There is a special club members chat room where we will have our meetings. All club members will be notified of the date and time of the meeting. Be aware that the time will be pacific time. If you can't make a meeting, it is crucial you notify me.
Do I have to supply any personal information?
Not really. It depends on what you consider personal. I do need to know your age, and the country you live in because of the time zone. Otherwise everything else is just stuff like hobbies, favorite movie, etc. Your opinions on movies and music, etc will not affect how I judge your application. The information will be used when you get into the club.
Is it true I need to send in a picture?
No. If you want to send in pictures of yourself it will be helpful for the member page I am making. It will allow it to look nicer and more professional. When you get into the club you can see how the pictures are used and make your decision then. If you do decide to send in a picture let me know that you will be sending one in. The picture can be of anything, meaning a graduation picture, school picture or just a regular picture of you doing something else. Only club members will be able to view your pictures.
Can I give others the password?
No. If you give your password to anyone and any club members find out, you will automatically be dropped from the club and the password will be changed rendering you without a proper password. The URL of the page will also be changed.
Can I quit the group at any time?
Yes. Be assured that your presence will be missed in the group, however it is your choice. We ask that you don't give the password out to anybody else. You will still have access to the special oppurtunities but once again please do not give the password out to anybody.
What kind of benefits do I get?
Many different kinds. I won't list them yet, but be assured that you and only you are entitled to these benefits available on this site. They are to help us write our fanfiction better. An example is a fight guide so everyone in our group will be able to understand how the fight scene is supossed to look. It's basically a list of different moves with their definitions and a picture of them being performed.
What if I don't have a fanfiction to send you in the application?
You must be an experienced fanfiction writer, meaning that you must have written at least one fanfiction story or poem. Otherwise you can't send in an application. Once you do have one, then please send in an application. Remember that if you have more than one piece of work you can give me a URL, where they can be found and I'll be more than happy to review them.
Why do I need to supply my country in the application?
There are two main reasons why this is a requirment. First of all I would like to know where my members are coming from. There are some people who watch Buffy in Bosnia, The Netherlands and many other places. I would just like to know how diverse the Buffy kingdom spreads. The second is because everybody has different times zones, therefore when we have our club meetings I would like to arrange a time when it would be okay for everyone to attend.
Do I need any HTML/JavaScript knowledge?
No. The only thing that others can have put on my webpage is fanfiction. I make an exception for club members. Club members have the ability to write things such as trivia, episode sypnosis, biographies, reviews, etc. I will usually post them on my webpage, however I don't allow others, not even club members, to go into my angelfire account and post the work themselves for my security.
