City Of...

The very first episode. This episode deals with Angel in his new home. It starts off with him pretending to be drunk to follow a pair of vamps who are trying to kill these two girls. He stops them but is tempted to drink from one girl who has a blood streak running down her head from the brawl. He tells them to go and the adventure begins. When he returns to his home Doyle is waiting for him. He says he is sent by "The powers that be". He tells Angel his life story and says that he is sent to guide him. He gives him a name and a place. Tina....coffe shop. He goes their and meets her. It turns out she is on the run from a man named Russell. He promised her stardom, but it was all a lie. She lets him come with her to a party and lo and behold the one and only Cordelia Chase is their. After some problems Angel gets her to his home but she finds the note Doyle left and thinks he is working for Russell. She takes off to her home and their runs into Russell who turns out to be a vampire and kills her. Angel finds her gets mad and goes after Russell who is now intriged by Cordy and has his people get her over. She figures out he is a vampire and runs but then Angel jumps in and saved her. They flee then Angel confronts Russell in his skyscraper during the day. His lawyers, a group use to helping out vampires with "legal problems". Russell tells Angel he can do what ever he wants. Angel asks him if he can fly...then pushes him out of a window and Russell burns in the sun before he even hits the ground. Cordy afterwards seems determined to help Angel and Doyle out. Also Angel calls Buffy's mom to check up on her...but Buffy answers and he hangs up without saying a word.
