TRICK: Hit The Deck
EFFECT: You take 21 cards out of a deck of cards and lay them in three piles and have a spectator memorize a card. Then you later find the card with ease.
HOW TO: Take any 21 cards from an ordinary deck of playing cards. As you deal these cards face up into three piles, ask a spectator to choose a card and remember it. But tell the spectator not to pick it up or tell it to you.When you finish dealing all 21 cards, ask he/she to point to the pile that holds they're card. Now pick up the three piles, making sure you put the pile with the chosen card between the other two piles. Deal the cards into three piles again. Ask him/her which pile the card is in now. Pick up the cards again, making sure the pile with the card is in the middle. Deal the cards into three piles once more and ask him/her which pile the card is in. Pick up the piles for the last time, making sure the pile with the card is in the middle. Now you're ready to find the card. Deal out 11 cards, but don't let anyone know that you're dealing a certin number of cards. The 11th card will always be the chosen card (unless you make a mistake). Have fun amazing your friends!
