Hurricane

Sarah looked at AJ, and blushed. She was a little ashamed that the others walked in on them. AJ smiled at her, and gently kissed her cheek.

"Well what should we do?" Brian asked.

"Why don't we just talk to each other…I mean we never really talk anymore…" AJ suggested. Everyone nodded their heads.

"Ok so whats up with you and AJ, Sarah?" Karine asked her, taking a seat on Nick's bed.

"Nothing," she lied.

"Nothing my ass! Yous were in here making out like there is no tomorrow…" Karine laughed. She smiled as Nick sat down on the bed next to her.

Neither of them answered so she just sighed. Nick laid back on the bed, and Karine turned around and looked at him.

"Tired Nicky?" she asked him.

"No, I just don't feel like sitting up…" Nick smiled at her, and grabbed her around the waist, pulling her down, and tickling her.

"Nick!! Stop!!" she yelled at him. Nick stopped tickling her, and she laid on the bed next to him.

"You two really need to fuck!" AJ laughed.

Nick shot him an evil look, and Karine blushed at the thought of having sex with him.

"Shut up AJ! I bet if we wouldn't have come when we did you two would be doing it now!" Karine said.

"So, whats the problem with that?" AJ replied.

Karine shrugged, and looked at Nick. He was staring at her, and she gently touched his cheek.

He smiled at her touch, then they heard 'aww's' coming from the others.

"Ok talking doesn't work. Why don't we play spin the bottle, but change the rules a little bit…" Brian suggested.

"Aww man. How are we planning on changing the rules?" Alicia wined.

"Well instead of a little peck on the lips you have to french them for, um, lets say 2 minutes?" Brian said.

"Ok…" everyone mumbled.

Nick got up off of the bed, and walked down to the kitchen, getting an empty wine cooler glass, and bringing it back up to his room.

Everyone sat around his floor in a big circle, and Nick put the bottle in the middle of the floor.

"Who wants to spin it first?" Karine asked.

"I will…" Brian said. He reached forward, and spinned the bottle. It landed on AJ and Sarah.

"Oh baby!!" AJ said. He crawled towards her, and gently put his hand on her cheek.

He pulled her face into his, and kissed her lips softly. Then they both opened their mouths letting their tongues explore the warm confines of their mouths.

Just then the power went out. Karine jumped, and grabbed Nick's arms, since he was sitting next to her. Nick gently rubbed her arm, and kissed her cheek. "Its ok, I dunno what happened…" Nick said. She laid her head on his shoulder, and closed her eyes.

AJ had pulled Sarah into his lap, and was holding her tightly.

Brian and Alicia were just sitting there laughing at how stupid everyone was acting.

"You guys, its only a power outage. Its not like we are going to get killed or something!" Alicia said laughing.

But still Karine scooted closer to Nick. "Wasn't that hurricane suppose to hit here soon? Maybe its the winds from that or something…" she said her voice a little shaky.

Nick gently wrapped a protective arm around her, and she laid her head down on his chest. "Ok you guys, since the power is out, we are probably going to sweat to death, so lets just go to sleep before we start getting to hot to fall asleep…" Nick instructed.

"Yeah, ok guys, lets go…" Brian said. He grabbed a sleeping bag off of the pile that was in his closet, and rolled it out. The others followed him.

Alicia put hers next to him. Then AJ pulled out a sleeping bag, and Sarah was behind him. "You don't need one baby….you can sleep with me…." AJ said, his sexy smile turning her whole body on.

"Ok," she replied as AJ took her hand.

Karine walked over to the closet, and grabbed a sleeping bag, when she turned around, and Nick took it from her.

"Nick, what are you doing?" she asked him.

Nick smiled at her, and threw the sleeping back into the closet. "You cam sleep in my bed with me if you want. I'll protect you…"

"Are you sure?" she asked sweetly, as she tousled a few strands of her brownish hair.

"Yeah, come on…." Nick walked over to the bed, and climbed under the covers. He held them up as Karine climbed under them too. Nick leaned over, and softly kissed her cheek.

"Night!" AJ yelled to everyone then wrapping his arms around Sarah and kissed her passionately.

Nick looked at Karine. They were both laying on their sides facing each other. "Goodnight Kari…" Nick said then kissing her forehead.

"Goodnight Nick…" she purred, then closing her eyes, and falling into a deep sleep.

*the next morning*

Karine woke up, feeling an arm draped across her waist. She knew it was Nick, but she wasn't sure if he had known that he had done that. Her back was towards him, and his front was to her back.

Affectionately, she ran her hand down his arm, and gently picked up his hand in hers. She intertwined her fingers with his, as she felt him pull her in closer to his body.

There was a loud knock at the door that woke everyone up. "NICK, YOU GUYS! GET UP! THE HURRICANE IS COMING! WE HAVE TO GET TO SHELTER!" Nick's dad yelled from the outside of the door.

Everyone jumped up, and started grabbing things. "I gotta go home and get clothes!" Sarah said.

"No! You guys the winds are really strong right now, there is no time to go home. I'll give all of you some of my clothes, and we have to leave right now!" Nick said. Brian and AJ began pulling things out of Nick's drawers, and putting them in bags.

Nick ran into his closet, his hand still together with Karine's. "Kari, here put this on…" Nick said, as he handed her a pair of wind pants and a hoodie.

She pulled them on over her shorts and tank tops, and watched as Nick grabbed some other things.

"Oh my god, oh my god! AJ I don't want to die!!" Sarah said as she cried. AJ picked her up into his arms, and held her. She locked her ankles around his back, and held onto him.

Alicia was grabbing combs and brushes off of the dresser. Brian ran up to her, and said, "Ali, we have to go, come on!" Brian grabbed her arm, and pulled her out of the bedroom.

Nick and Karine were still in the room. "Nick, here…" she handed him a picture of the six of them. It was taken last week.

He looked at her, and smiled. She grabbed his hand, and a bag off of the floor, and headed out of his room.

Nick shut his door, as he prayed that soon they would return to this place without it being torn to the ground.

All six of the kids, along with Nick's sisters and brother all pilled into the van. Their wasn't enough room for everyone, so Sarah sat on AJ's lap, Karine on Nick's and Alicia on Brian's.

Karine was shaking. The last time there was a hurricane, when her family returned home, they found their pet dog hanging in one of the trees in their front yard dead.

Karine leaned back on Nick, and closed her eyes. She prayed that the hurricane wouldn't be bad.

"Dad? Which one are we going to?" Nick yelled up to his father.

"Um, the one just outside of Ruskin. An old church basement…" he answered.

AJ and Sarah were kissing. It was taking their mind off of everything that was happening. No one said anything, they just sat there.

Brian tightened his grip around Alicia's waist, and she nestled back into his arms.

Karine turned her head, and looked into Nick's eyes. "Nick, I want to be able to go home to my house, and have everything there this time…" she said nervously.

Nick gently rubbed her thigh. "Its gonna be ok, I promise…." Nick said. She smiled, then leaned back onto his body.

*20 minutes later*

Everyone piled out of the van, and grabbed the bags. They ran through the high winds, and pouring rain, until they got to cover.

"Ok how many are with you, and what are your names?" the man who was running the shelter asked. Nick's dad told him everything, and told them that children and parents stay together, and their is a place for teens if they don't want to stay with their parents.

Brian, Nick, AJ, Karine, Sarah, and Alicia all decided to go with the teens. Well for AJ and Sarah's sake, so they could make out, and no one would really mind.

They all brought their stuff into the room, and noticed only three cots left. Quickly the guys threw their bags on the beds, and looked at the girls.

"You girl can either sleep on the floor or sleep in the beds with us…" AJ said, smiling suggestively at Sarah.

"Ok well yeah Sarah and AJ thats fine with you two but what about us?" Alicia replied.

"Well you can share with Bri and Kari can share with me…" Nick said.

Karine's eyes lit up. Just the thought of sharing a small bed with Nick, where they would have to be laying against each other the whole night, excited her.

"Come on Ali, I don't want you to be the only one sleeping on the floor…" Brian said sweetly.

"Oh fine! But don't try anything with me!!" she joked.

Brian laughed, while he pulled out a sleeping bag from one of the bags. The other guys did the same. They made up the beds, and then sat down on them. Karine sat with Nick, Alicia sat with Brian and Sarah was with AJ.

They had pulled the beds into a big circle and were all looking at each other. "Alright this is cool!" Sarah said sarcastically.

"Haha I know right!" Karine laughed.

Nick was smiling at Karine. She was so beautiful, yet she didn't have to do much to look so beautiful. Karine smiled and laughed as AJ told yet another one of his dirty jokes.

"Hey Kari! You know what we should do?!" Alicia said happily.

"What?" she asked.

"Let's cut your hair! I mean it would look so cute short!" she replied.

"WHAT? No! I don't trust you with cutting my hair!"

"Oh come on! It would make you look so much older!"

"But…"

"Aww come on! I cut my cousin's hair all the time!"

Karine looked around at the others, and they all nodded their heads. "Who has the scissors?" Karine said calmly.

Nick dug through a bag, and pulled out a pair of scissors. He handed them to Alicia, and Karine moved to the floor, Ali sitting behind her.

"Please be careful!" she said.

"I will, calm down. How short should I cut it?" Alicia said, looking at Sarah.

"Um, cut it like to her shoulders…" Sarah said.

"WHAT?! That's so short!" Karine yelled.

"Shush, it will look nice…." Sarah added smiling.

Alicia began cutting her hair. She was cutting off almost 12 inches. The guys sat there and watched in amazement as Alicia transformed Karine into someone else.

When she was done, she grabbed a mirror out of her purse. Karine looked around at the others, before she looked at her hair.

"Wait!" AJ said, grabbing the mirror out of Alicia's hands.

"What AJ?" Karine said, running her fingers though her now short hair.

"Ali, cut the pieces in the front, and give her bangs…and if you knew how you could put layers in her hair. "

"Wow AJ, I never knew that you knew so much about girls hair!" Alicia laughed.

"Kari you should, it would look really cool…" AJ said, looking into her eyes.

"Fine! Just don't do anything that is going to look bad!" Karine gave in.

Alicia smiled, and began cutting some layers into her hair. Then she pulled down a thin section of her hair, in front of her head, and cut her some thin bangs.

This time, when she was done, Nick was staring at her. "Nick, your drooling, man…" Brian said, laughing.

Nick looked up at Brian, and smiled cockily.

"Ok can I see now?" Karine spoke impatiently.

Alicia put the mirror down, and Karine took it. She looked into it, and didn't change her face or say anything. She just combed through her hair with her fingers, and then handed the mirror back to Alicia.

"Well?" AJ asked.

"I love it!!" she said jumping up, and hugging Alicia.

Alicia smiled, and then released her from her arms.

*11pm, that night*

The rain poured against the ceiling of the old church. When the wind would blow really hard, the building would shift.

The 6 teens were sitting on the floor, listening to some music. "You guys? What are we going to do if you guys get a record contract some day?" Sarah said, looking up at AJ.

"It's not like we will ever forget you guys!" Nick replied smiling.

"Good…" Karine teased.

"Well come on you guys! Let's get into bed, just in case that guy comes in here again, and tells us to go to sleep," Sarah said. The truth was she just wanted to get into bed with AJ.

The six of them got up, and headed over to their beds. Brian got into the sleeping bag, then Alicia following him. She zipped up the sleeping bag, and laid her head down on the pillow.

AJ and Sarah got into their sleeping bag, and snuggled together, kissing each other until they fell asleep.

Nick climbed into the sleeping bag, Karine then coming in next. They were facing each other. Nick reached over her, and zipped up the sleeping bag, then put his hand under the covers.

Karine looked at him. He was smiling at her. "You look so pretty with your hair like that…" Nick said, pushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

"Thanx Nick…" she said. She gently took his hand, and began playing with his fingers. Nick watched her carefully, and then she brought his hand up to her lips. She kissed everyone of his fingers, and then when she was done, she looked up at Nick.

"Can I try kissing you again?" he barely whispered.

Karine smiled, and Nick leaned towards her, softly brushing his lips against hers. He pulled away, and she gently put her hand on his cheek. She pulled his lips to hers again, and kissed him again.

Nick put his arm around her waist, and gently rubbed her back. Nick knew that she never had frenched a guy before, so he pulled away.

"Nick…please…." she said in a quiet whisper.

Nick pushed his lips on hers forcefully, and began to kiss her more passionately. She felt his tongue slowly begin to caress and lick her lips. She slowly opened her mouth, and felt his tongue against hers.

She felt his hands caressing her back as she let her tongue circle with his. He could feel her warm breathing on his cheek, and when he felt that he to needed to take in a huge breath, he slowly pulled away.

When he opened his eyes, he saw Karine slowly open hers. "Nick, wow…" she said, slowly caressing his face with her hand.

Nick smiled. "Kari, when we get out of here, will you go on a date with me?" Nick said kissing her lips softly.

"Yes, Nick I would love too…" she said. Nick gently kissed her forehead, and then pulled her tightly into his arms.

*the next morning*

AJ slowly opened his eyes, hearing all of the commotion of the other people in the room. He pulled Sarah closer to his body, and heard her sigh.

His eyes ran over the many people, then stopping when he saw Brian and Alicia in the bed. Brian was really close to her, and she just had her head resting on his shoulder.

Then he saw Nick and Karine. Nick was laying on his stomach with his arm draped across her waist, while she was laying on her back, her arm around his shoulder, and their heads next to each other.

AJ leaned down, and softly kissed the back of Sarah's head. Her hair still smelled of her shampoo, and it turned AJ on. He gently stroked her arm as he held her.

Just then, he saw Nick's mom walk into the room. He quickly shut his eyes in fear they would get yelled at for sleeping boy/girl with each other.

She walked over to Nick, and almost gasped. She gently shook his back, waking up him and Karine.

"Nickolas Gene!" she scolded him.

When Nick finally woke up completely, he pulled his arms off of Karine, they both sat up. The other 4 had sat up also when they heard her yell.

"What do you guys think you are doing? Sleeping with girls at 14, 16 and well Brian I can understand.," she said, looking around at all of the guys.

"Mom, all we did was sleep. I swear. Don't get so worked up!" Nick said as he rubbed his eyes.

She sighed. "The hurricane didn't hit here. It moved its direction, but we are advised that the winds and the rain are very strong, and we have to stay here for one more night. Karine, your mother is going to kill you when she sees your hair. And guys, you will be sleeping in the room with us tonight…."

"But mom!" Nick complained.

"Shut up Nick. You guys are all sleeping in the other room tonight. Now, get up its almost noon…." She said, and walked out of the room.

"Fuck!" Nick cursed.

"Nick, its ok, you guys can just sneak over, and we can make out or something…." She said, gently kissing his cheek.

"AJ, I want you to be holding me in your arms tonight…" Sarah said, gently running her fingers though his hair.

"I know babe…but I can't…you heard Nick's mom…." AJ replied, then took her hand, and kissed it.

"Well come over and visit.." she spoke softly.

AJ softly kissed her lips. "I'll make it a priority…" he said, then kissing her again.
