Greg bought this car from a lady in the next town over for $100. She claimed there was a small hole in the rad, but we looked at it and the water pump was shot. We didn't have any way of getting it home other than driving it, so we threw a set of plates on it and crossed our fingers. The Thing ran like a dream the whole way home. The engine had 360,000kms on it too. This thing's ability to run so good, and be so hot, led it to Greg getting 4th out of around a big heat of 25 other minis. The awesome paint job seen on the car (done by Matt, he paints all the cars) won the best appearing demo car. So At least we Came home with something. $50 and a trophy. The Body in this thing was completely written off, but the motor went on to live in another vette later on in the season.

We decided to go with a Simpsons theme on this car. Bart on one side, Homer on the other, And Ralph Wiggum, picking his nose on the roof.
