JCRCC Meeting Minutes - July 2000
The Jackson County Radio Control Club held it's regularly scheduled meeting 11 July 2000 at the Hardees in Gurley, AL.
The minutes were approved and the Treasurer's report was read. The club balance matched the statement provided by the bank. Voluntary contributions were received from Homer Mitchell, Roger and Don Brewer, and Jerry Smith. The exceptional generosity of several club members has made it possible to pay the Port-a-Potty cost without reducing our bank balance to a restrictive level. Way to go guys!!!!!
The condition of the mower batteries was discussed and Homer Mitchell volunteered to provide a new battery.
The demonstration for the Cub Scouts was rescheduled for Saturday August 5, 2000 with field preparation scheduled for Friday afternoon, August 4, 2000. A cookout was planned after the cleanup on Friday as well as after the demonstration for the Scouts on Saturday.
JCRCC welcomed new junior member Tyler Gilmore, great to have you Tyler.
The club also reluctantly accepted the resignation of Leon Keller as Newsletter Editor since he is leaving the Huntsville area. Club members expressed their appreciation to Leon for a job well done.
