June 13, 99... Dear Diary, Hi! This is my first entry because just yesterday, Clubby, Val, Tina, Erin and me cleaned the attic, and I found you, a perfect, unused diary. Anyway, today Luke made one of his monster messes, he's a sweet puppy, but very curious, he made a volcano, using up all the baking powder in the house in the process, then Nutsy, (Nuts' niece) found an ad for a circus camp, sponsered by Beanum Bailey. All the kids wanted to go, don't get me wrong, I love them, but I can't wait to get rid of them for 1 week. It's going to be dull without them, it's been ages since we had a Meanie or Pebble pet war, a month ago we signed a peace treaty with the Puffkins, and I'm surprised how sweet they are when they're not fighting. At the moment I can hear Luke, Ewey, Scat, Nutsy, 'Nook, and Chip playing in the backyard, I'm curious about what they're doing, after all, Ewey's speaking in a normal tone, so I'm going to go check it out, maybe go swimming in the creek.
