Beast Machines Facts
Bob Forward and Larry DiTillio, story editors for Beast Wars Transformers will not be acting as story editors on this series.
Marv Wolfman of comic book fame wrote the "treatment", the basic story which Beast Machines will be based on.
Veteran animation writers Bob Skir and Marty Isenberg are taking over the story editing duties. More information can be found on Bob Skir's web site: www.bobskir.com.
Beast Machines Transformers originall had the working title of Beast Hunters, but Beast Machines Transformers is the final name for the show.
At least three characters from Beast Wars are slated to be in Beast Machines Transformers: Cheetor, Optimus Primal and Megatron. Cheetor and Optimus Primal have both been seen in Mainframe Entertainment pictures (see below) while Megatron has been mentioned in articles about Beast Machines.
Mainframe Entertainment released two images of working models for Beast Machines Transformers Cheetor and Optimus Primal. These are not the final product, but do give a look into the direction things are headed.

More Beast Wars Facts
There will be at least 13 episodes in the first season of Beast Machines Transformers, not only 6 or 10 as some have rumored.
Beast Machines Transformers will air on the Fox Network, not exclusively on the Fox Family cable channel.
Beast Machines will most likely not feature classic Generation One characters.
Beast Machines will feature some radical departures from classic Transformer designs as shown in the two images below.

Beast Machines Rumors
Cybertron will be the primary setting for Beast Machines Transformers.
Beast Machines will take place long after the Beast Wars.
Beast Machines will focus on Megatron's forces over-running Cybertron and the efforts of the Maximals to stop him.
The Transformers in Beast Machines will have "difficulty" transforming, possibly due to their new forms.
There will be vehicular Transformers in Beast Machines, most likely on the Predacon side.
Cybertron will be represented as a very "metallic cyberpunk" type of environment.
