The Mantis

Simple minded the mantis peers

Through many facets at the men

Scurrying in and out,

To purchase and to feed.

Is it foolishness she percieves,

Or does she foolishly percieve

Something to envy

In this complex house of cards,

That could tumble at the fall

Of a financial index?

Delicately she nibbles a beetle's brow

And contemplates...
