SPC - Super NES Sound Rips
The .spc file is a compact, high-quality rip of music directly from a Super Nintendo ROM. While SPCs occupy far less space than mp3s, they cannot be played with standard media software -- at least not without the proper plugins. My favorite player for these files is ZDSpc, a stand-alone program that allows you to choose between different sound cores, modifying the music emulation to your liking. A good alternative is SPCAmp, a plugin that lets you listen to the sound rips on WinAmp. |
