How to solder connector tabs to battery pack wiring:

1 - When you grip the wire, don't smash it too tight

2 - Use a soldering iron to heat up the tab

3 - Place solder at the location shown, at the angle shown. As the solder begins melting, feed it into the opening at the tab, in the location shown (use the same angle as arrow 3)

4 - As the tab fills up with molten solder, it will begin to seep out the bottom of the tab - when this happens, stop feeding solder into the tab

When the solder has cooled, slide the tab into the connector housing as shown in the directions which came with the connectors.

C A U T I O N ! ! !

Be VERY CAREFUL when replacing tabs on both + & - wires!!!

Place tabs on the battery pack wires ONE WIRE AT A TIME - this will help reduce the possibility of having the wires touch one another which is a VERY VERY bad thing!!!

Having battery pack wires touch one another could cause a fire &/or severe injury - THIS IS NO JOKE!!!

Also, make sure the tabs fit into the connector housings fully - the tab should snap into place as it becomes seated in its sprung position.
