"Yeah, that sounds…YUMMY," he answered in the Jim Carrey voice, impersonating his appearance from the movie, "The Mask."
"Geez, Brian, that has to be one of the most annoying sound you make!"
"You wanna hear the most annoying sound I make? Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee," he shouted mimicking the sound Jim Carrey made in "Dumb and Dumber," the movie they were just about to watch.
"Awe geez, Brian," she said covering her ears. "Sometimes you are so weird it scares me!"
"Yeah, but I know you love me anyway!" he replied with a smirk on his face.
"Yeah," she said sending him a smile.
As Liz stepped out of the car in her driveway, Brian walked to the trunk of his car and pulled out the movie. Liz raced to the door fishing around her bag for her house keys. "I think I left my regular keys in the house. The only key I have here is the one to the backdoor."
"Well then, little lady, why don't we just mosey on thadda way," Brian said in a western accent. They walked by the side of the house, in between Liz and Brian's house. Brian walked a few steps behind Liz.
"Is there a leash attached to your ankle so that you can't walk? C'mon Brian... ahhhhhhhh," Liz said screaming as the sprinkler (on Brian's property) soaked her.
"Oh you sly little dog! You knew that sprinkler was on!"
"Well YA! You know I like to keep my grass nice and green!"
"I'm gonna get you, Frick, and when I do you're gonna pay!!" she shouted chasing Brian into her backyard. He ran through the gate surrounding her pool, and raced to the other side of the pool so that she couldn't get to him too quickly. Liz ran through the gate and closed the door behind her, locking the gate so that he couldn't get out. "Brian, come here…c'mon B-Rok, com'ere!" she said and darted around the corner of the pool. Brian surprised by her sudden movement, took a step backward. He slipped on a small raft and fell into the pool. Liz laughed so hard she couldn't stand up. As his head popped above the water, she backed against the gate surrounding the pool.
"Have you heard of a pool heater?" Brian said lifting himself out of the pool and shivering a little. Tears of laughter were streaming down Liz's face so that she couldn't see. She couldn't speak for she was laughing so hard. "So, you think that's funny, huh?" "Ahahahahahahahaha," was the only answer he could get out of Liz.
Brian bent down and lifted Liz to a standing position. "It's not that funny," Brian said giving her a tight, WET hug.
"Ahahahah, get off me Brian! Hahahaha."
Now that they were both soaking wet, Brian lifted her up and threw her into the pool, jumping in right after her.
"Ah, I got a cramp from laughing so hard. Brian, throw me a float or something, I'm gonna sink!" she said still laughing. Not being able to reach the rafts, he swam across the pool to her.
"Come with me," he said wrapping one arm around her, and doggy paddling to the side of the pool with his other arm. When she held onto the wall of the pool, he got out, and lifted her out with him. A breeze swept through the lawn and Liz shivered. Brian wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her close to warm her. Liz looked up at Brian, and for a moment she was lost in his eyes. Time froze as they gazed at each other. They moved closer to each other, and just as Brian was about to kiss her, she shivered again.
"We should change our clothes before we watch the movie," she said taking a step backwards and looking away.
"Um, yeah," he said realizing where he was. "I'll go home, and be back in a few minutes."
"Alrighty. See ya in a few."
