"Riley, Laney, are you guys ready yet? We're gonna miss the
beginning of the movie!"
"One sec! Just let me finish putting on my lip gloss," said Riley.
Ding…dong…
"I'll get it!" Liz screamed running down the stairs. She opened the
door to see Megan standing there. "Hey Meg!"
"Hey, Liz. What's up?"
"Oh, nothing much. I'm just waiting for Laney and Riley to HURRY
UP!" she said calling her friends again. "How have you been?"
"I've been good. New York is so much fun…"
A Few Minutes Later…
Ding… dong…The doorbell again. Liz opened the door again. The man
standing at the door turned around facing her, and there was Nick.
"Hey, Frack. What are you doing here?"
"I wasn't sure which theater we are going to and B-Rok has left
already, so I came to see if you were here."
"Ok, well, were going to the theater right off of Main Street.
Megan!" Liz said calling into another room. "Nick is here!"
Oh god, Here it goes! Megan thought as she walked into the room.
"Hey Nick," Megan said shyly. Oh god, he has only gotten more handsome since
the last time I've seen him.
"Meggy, you look great! How are you…" Nick's voice trailed off as he
and Megan walked into another room.
"Laney and Riley, I am leaving without you!"
"Geez, scream a little louder next time. My ears aren't ringing loud
enough," Laney joked.
"Where's Riley?"
"Walking down the stairs at this very moment," Riley laughed. "Are we
all ready to go?"
After Nick and Megan said their hello's to everybody, they all left
for the movie. Liz was carrying a huge and extremely heavy bag. As they were
walking down the driveway to their cars Nick said, "Liz, I have a question
for you."
"What is it?"
"I know you have a lot of stuff in that bag of yours, but do you have
the kitchen sink in there? I need to wash my hands."
"Oh, ha ha. That was so funny I can't even laugh. If you need to
wash your hands there is a hose right over there."
"If you don't have the kitchen sink in there, then what is ?" Nick
joked.
"I have all the stuff that Brian and Zach have to use for when they
do their 'embarrassing stunt.'"
"What 'stunt' would that be?"
"Brian didn't tell you? Ha ha, he's probably avoiding the subject at
all costs!"
"Why does he have to do this?"
"I won a basket ball game finally, and now it's his turn to look like
a fool!"
"Well it's about dang time that you won. What does he have to do?"
"The answer will be revealed at it's proper time!" she joked.
At the movies…
Liz and the gang arrived at the theater and saw Brian Darren and Zach
waiting for them in the Lobby. Darren also had a heavy bag. After everybody
had bought their snacks and stuff they all went to their seats. Brian and
Zach sat next to each other, and then Liz and Darren sat on the seats that
were at the side of them to make sure they couldn't leave.
In the middle of the movie, Darren gave Liz a sign, and they both
unloaded their bags and gave Brian and Zach what was in it. Liz pulled out a
battery operated boom box, and put in a CD. "Ok, you guys know what to do,"
Liz whispered to her two soon to be humiliated friends.
Placing a mask (it had big framed black glasses, a huge plastic nose,
a mustache and eyebrows that looked like huge black caterpillars) on their
faces, and taping a sign on their back (that read, "We lost a basket ball
game to a girl, we are LOSERS"), Brian and Zach stood up, and held a loud
speaker in front or their faces. Liz and Darren held out huge flashlights so
that people could see the guys. She turned on the music and the sound of
"MMMBop" filled the room. Zach (as tone deaf as can be) and Brian belted out
the words in pure humiliation.
Tears of laughter streamed down Liz, Darren, Nick, Megan, Laney, and
Riley's faces. Just then a group of girls in the front row stood up and
started screaming, knowing that it was Brian singing. Liz and Darren fell of
their seats laughing so hard at the sight of their friends looking like total
morons.
The manager and two men will t-shirts that read "SECURITY" walked
into the theater. "Excuse me, gentlemen. If you two don't leave right now we
will have to call the police," said the manager in a stern voice.
"I'm sorry, sir. We'll leave."
As the guys walked through the lobby in the light, one of the
security men said, "A Backstreet Boy lost a basket ball game to a girl! What
is the world coming to?"
Brian laughed knowing that the man was joking. He and Zach waited
outside the theater for their friends to finish watching.
