Another important project was restoring the front door. As you can see in this picture it was in pretty bad shape. What you can't see is that all the joints are loose and I could actually move the glass back and forth with my hands. |

I really stressed over this job. After all, this door had been through alot...I didn't want to be the one that caused it's demise. |

With alot of advice and encouragement from the woodworking experts
in my virtual "old house support group" I took my front door apart. Here
are the pieces...now how DID they go together?
This room will be the living room someday. Guess this shot will REALLY make a good before picture! |

Here is the finished product. I have to say that this has been my favorite project so far. And you can see how long it took me to complete it...those plants sure did grow alot! |
