If you take a closer look, Erik could've been easily a steady topnotcher at the Dean's List [even beating the oldtimers!]. He could've won as an officer of the NECES club or even just the classroom. He could've carried the basketball team to victory all by himself. But why not? It's because just being part of somebody's victory is enough for him to be victorious too!

He just wants to be on the sidelines perhaps doing the odd jobs like helping anyway he can, or just cheering up his friends. Makulit din si Erik, that's who he is!
