"All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Sin is anything we do that offends God. Sin is any wrong that we do. We have ALL sinned. Rom 6:23 says, "...the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." A person who chooses to live without God in his life will pay the high price of an eternity separated from God. "But God commandeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Rom 5:8 "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit." I Peter 3:18 Because God is righteous, someone must pay the penalty for sin. The death of Jesus Christ is the greatest display of the unending love of God for all sinners. Jesus died for all those in rebellion. |

We can have eternal life and be forgiven our sins because Jesus died for us and paid the price in full for us. What we have to do is REPENT, that is confess that we are sinners, ask God’s forgiveness and turn toward God. Jesus described the act of repentance and restoration with God as "new birth." Acts 3:19 says "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;" |

Confess Jesus and Believe that HE was raised from the dead by God. "That if thou shalt confess with they mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Rom 10:9 The word confess means to acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Savior and Lord, to believe with all your heart that Jesus died on the cross for you, rose to life again, and believe that He is alive now and will change your life as you follow and obey His teachings. |

The Bible says in Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of GOD." GRACE refers to the divine love and kindness of God in His willingness to forgive and save us. Salvation is God’s gift if you will receive it with a commitment to turn and follow Jesus. |

Pray (call upon) to the Lord and be Saved: "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Rom10:13 "Whosoever" means anyone can ask God for forgiveness of sin and turn from sin and follow Jesus. |

Just tell God that you want to. You can use one of the following prayers as a guide for what to say: "Dear God, I admit that I have done wrong, and can't save myself. I believe in your Son, Jesus, who died and rose again for me. I now accept Your gift of eternal life. Please come into my life and save me from my sin. Thank you. Amen" OR "Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and need YOUR forgiveness. I know that YOU died on the cross for me. I now turn from my sins and ask that YOU forgive me. I invite you into my heart and life. I trust YOU as SAVIOR and will follow YOU as LORD. Thank YOU for saving me. Amen." |
