ECF Directives Acceptance Pledge

I, Jenina Weslynes hereby accept and promise to abide by as well as uphold all the Directives of the Exploratory Crews of the Federation.

Jenina Weslynes is the first child of three born to Salena and Traven Weslynes. She was born in Dalaria, Betazed, which is the central space port of Betazed. Her location played a large factor in her development and fostered a strong desire to join Starfleet, She is the first in her family to attend the Academy. Her desire to work in space was increased during a year's visit to New York City, New York with her family at the age of 8. It was here that she gained an interest in marital arts by taking a course in Tae Kwon Do.

Following her return to Betazed, she continued in marital arts training, using an ancient form still taught where the innate abilities of telepathy/empathy and body control all work in unison.

She graduated school 2 years early and then entered the University of Medina. There, Jenina earned a major in anthropology and a minor in archeology. After a year of study, she took a leave of absence to train for Peacekeeper duty to help pay for living expenses. She later returned and graduated with honors.

At the Academy, she graduated with honors. Her courses of study focused on starship/small craft piloting, navigation and command training.
