ECF Directives Acceptance Pledge

I, Tre'Maar hereby accept and promise to abide by as well as uphold all the Directives of the Exploratory Crews of the Federation.

Tre'Maar was born to the first concubine of Captain Vaan, commander of the H'Ree, a Klingon bird of prey. The H'Ree was destroyed while defending a Klingon outpost, which was attacked by the Breen. P'Tra, Tre'Maar's mother was on a Vulcan science vessel which was attacked by the H'Ree and captured. She became his slave and mother to his first son, Tre'Maar. After the death of Vaan, P'Tra was free to return to Vulcan, which she did with Tre'Maar.

Due to the violent nature of Klingons and repressed violence of his Vulcan heritage, Tre'Maar was extremely aggressive and had to study extra hard. Under his mother's tutelage, he learned to control his basic need to fight. Although he has achieved great strides in self control, he has never mastered the famed Vulcan stoicism.

Klingon and Vulcan martial arts have become an outlet for the rage that is a part of his heritage. This "rage" is responsible for the accidental shattering of six vertebrae in his spine. Tre'Maar attempted a masters move during martial arts training and was centered by his opponent, knocking him off of the training tower onto the rocks below. The vertebrae were replaced with a metal vertebrae in an experimental but successful operation.

At his mother's request he joined Starfleet, where he met his future mate Jenn Nadire, a Starfleet captain and a woman who he considers his equal. With his posting aboard the Technica, Tre'Maar has acquired the approval of his mother and the honor of his father. He has no house in the Empire to speak of, but in his heart the fire of Kahless burns bright and hot.
